Like L6 said, to have dropped only 4 points is insane.

At any level of football, that is an incredible achievement, let alone doing it in a country's top professional football league.

He's going places - along with Klopp, and I will still put Dechamps in there too, these are the bright stars of future management and will all end up at an elite European club in the not too distant.

Porto-Villarreal is a higher quality semi-final than Schalke-United.

That league record is just insane. Absolutely insane. It takes a very extraordinary person to achieve that. Working tactics with a squad of players and instilling a winning mentality in such short space of time is a mammoth task.

Simply phenomenal.

Can't wait to see them in the Champions League next season putting the so called big guns to bed. And before that, maybe the Super Cup against one of the spanish giants  ;D
If he retires I'll eat my fucking cock.

If he stays at Porto this summer and keeps his squad intact they can challenge for the Champions League next season. Certainly better than 2 of the 4 semi-finalists this year, and could beat the others in a one off game.

He's brilliant. Stinks of quality. Any club who has him is very lucky. There are people on here who will dissmiss him simply because he is not Kenny but sometimes something / someone truly special comes along and you have to accept they are different. He is that thing.

This is certainly not a suggestion that Kenny is replaced but if we got Villas Boas it would be interesting in the least.

And it was, Benfica won 2-0 in Estádio do Dragăo (Or Dragay, as I like to call it); and then lost 3-1 at home :X

You can say it's a poor league but Benfica and Braga are in the Europa League semi finals too. Scotland, Belgium, Wales, Ireland and Croatia are poor leagues but you don't get teams dropping a mere FOUR POINTS through a WHOLE SEASON.

To instill that winning mentality into a squad is a phenomenon. They'd give Barcelona a game on this form.

Well if everything goes to plan we might see a tasty Super Cup - Porto vs Barcelona, that would be very interesting if it happens and Villa Boas stays at Porto.

It is, my lads under 12 team have only dropped two points this season and they're in the semi final of the cup. They're no Porto like but it's some going. Two games in the season to go! We were 2-0 down on Thursday night at half time and won 3-2 n' all, fancy giving Porto a game come to think of it  ;D

Was a piece on him on tv over here yesterday. In short: Was discovered by Bobby Robson as a teenager for his ability to scout teams. Worked with Mourinho at Porto, Chelsea and Inter. Moved to Portugal last season, did well with that club and was hired by Porto. Him and Mourinho see things differently. When Mourinho wants to win at any price, Villas Boas wants to win AND play good football. He's similar to JM in the way he speaks to players and he also winds opponents up.

Hope he stays at Porto for another season, just to see how he gets on in the Champions League.

Could be trying to match Mourinho's consecutive European wins.

I haven't seen a European semi final in either of the CL or Europa League for along time in terms of high quality attacking football without watching the away team trying to kill the match... to be honest I'm starting to dislike the Chanpions League.

He's a bit good aint he?

With the way the Champions League is at the moment, a favourable draw could see them challenge i reckon.

All depends whether they can keep Hulk, Falcao, Maicon and Rolando. Then they'll be adding players as well.

There's no doubt Boas is the real deal though, can't wait to see how his career turns out.

Porto are notorious for selling players, i hope you're right mind.

But look at Benfica, they were awesome last year, make it into the Champions League, and then sell your three best players in Ramires, Di Maria, and Luiz.
