It will be interesting to see how he adapts to the Chelsea way of life. I do think he'll score his fair share of goals l just because he too good a footballer not to, but I'm not sure how well he'll fit in the team/how well the team will work with him. For years Torres has been our main man, one of the first names on the teamsheet, always are starter, hardly subbed. He was our hero, adored and never criticised, afforded more praise and patience than any other. But it's a different story at Chelsea, he is one of many 'big names', he is a small fish in a big pond and he is no longer first choice. He is not above criticism, he will be subbed, he will not be the big man anymore. I do wonder how he will adjust to this. The pressure on him his huge, he has a lot to prove and little time to prove it in.
A few weeks ago I put his petulant, sulky behaviour down to frustration and being so stifled under Roy, I totally understood why he would be feeling like that and backed him to start shining again under Kenny. Now I can see that perhaps I was wrong and he is just a sulky individual in general, the star of the show who has a paddy if things don't go exactly how he wants. But by no means will things go exactly how he wants at Chelsea, there is a lot of work to be done there. As I say I think he will score his fair share and I don't think he'll 'flop', but whether he will be a roaring success is anothe matter. It will be interesting to note his attitude at Chelsea, I think he'll fit right in with Anelka and co in terms of personality, which perhaps doesn't bode well for their relationship on the pitch.
