Album of the year, easily. 'All Of The Lights' is fucking epic.

He comes across as a dick sometimes but I don't really mind him, always liked his stuff apart from 808.

About to listen to the album today, expect great things from him. He has a creative mind like no one else in the business. Already listened to Monster with Rick Ross, Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj and thought it was great so really looking forward to this, especially after reading the reviews.

Managed to 3 times now.

When he started out, after first album and then after 808. You could see the difference in belief in him. Seen Jay Z who was better but he is good.

I seen Kanye on his Glow in the Dark tour at the MEN and it was immense. Still the best show I've ever been too.
Jay Z came on too and they did the Diamonds Remix, I'd love to witness that again.

Just finished listening to this and it's fucking awesome. Like always, his lyrics are genius, the way he plays with words is great. Really, really happy he came back this strong after all the shit people were talking about him. You can think he's a twat (don't think he is) but you can't deny his talent. Can't believe people were complaining about Autotune on his last album, it's not like you couldn't see his talent shine through and it's not like he bases his entire persona on Autotune (Kesha). He was just experimenting, I guess some people thought he failed, but there's no way they can deny the greatness of this album. Absolutely love it. Really liked: Monster, Power, Blame Game, So Appaled and Dark Fantasy. But don't think there's a weak track on there. Amazing, Kanye's back- finally.

I can see 'All Of The Lights' getting a dub step/dnb remixes if it's ever released as a single. 'Blame Game' is a highlight too, I can't really fault the album, it's definitely better listened to as a whole. So many albums have filler you just want to skip but not this.

What I love about this album is it's a compete package, sure there are really good singles on it, but it's on a completely different level when listened to as a whole and the rather silly title actually makes sense as well.

It's close to perfect if it wasn't for some slight sag in the middle (a couple of tracks that probably go on a bit too long), there isn't a dud on here, it's remarkable.

Just how good is the Bon Iver bit on 'Lost in the World'?

I agree that lyrically he's never been great, but his beats are and always have been fantastic.

When he came out he was a breath of fresh air. Then he was shit and irrelevant for a while, and that whole Taylor Swift thing just showed a big lack of class. But there's no doubting he's a true musician and artist.

After I heard 808 I thought he was done for good, but it looks like he's back with another great album. Let's hope some other rappers are inspired to try something more creative as it's a genre that's in a terrible slump at the moment.

I dont mean to sound snobish, but I would hazard to guess that the majority of people giving it 10 out of 10 probably only listen to about two our three Hip-Hop records a year and this is the designated one they like. If you want to get on real consistent brilliance in 2010 listen to The Roots "How I Got Over"

If you see it like I do, as a pop album and not hip-hop, you'll appreciate how class it is.

It's not the best hip-hop album of this year, but it's definitely one of the best mainstream albums.
