All that chasing after owen, had we shown half of that interest in heskey, we would have him here today. He would have been ideal for the games where we have failed to show physical preence on the pitch. heskey has that presence and aura that makes defenders scared.
And even when he grows old and loses some of that electric pace, we could use him in the midfield ala molby (big medio). His experience playing upfront would have ensured he knows precisely what balls strikers like played at them and he has the technical ability to play those balls to perfection.
Xabi can never do what heskey would have been capable of. massive error selling him and even more massive error on rafa`s part by going for the wrong striker to bring back.

There's no chance of winning the league this season. We're struggling to beat the also rans and won't keep on getting lucky. If we keep up at this rate we'll be lucky to avoid relegation. Mid-table for us at most sadly. Rafa out (and take Kuyt with you, who scored two flukes today). Shocking stuff.

And he missed that virtual open goal from 20 yards behind a crowd of defenders. My dead gran who had no legs and was blind, and no sense of direction, would have put that one in in her sleep.

Also, Agger's run for the equaliser was shite. What's he doing that for? All that space behind him. If he keeps doing that, sure we'll score a few, but what if we concede one?

Every team in EPL knows from now on that if you are to get a point atleast from Liverpool, simply try not to score the first goal, and you'll get the point. Stoke knew it and did it, Villa benefited from not getting the goal. One point each and all 0-0 for all the matches remain.

Well its obvious the refs are favouring us, and in particularly, Xabi Alonso. How does he have that knack of being able to draw in challenges that make the opposition fall/slip over (lets face it, thats the only explanation) and nick his ankle? Without the refs being biased, we'd be near the bottom. Just as the real table (the one thats thrown up that shows where teams would be after 45 mins) really shows.

If anything, he should be getting sent off for having the temerity to get in the way of those kinds of challenges.

Also, Rafa's a lucky manager, who makes some bizarre decisions and were only joint top due to getting dragged out of the shite thanks to Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres. None of our other players would get into any other top 4 sides. Alonso, Mascherano, Carragher, Agger, Skrtel, Babel, Reina all pure shite.

And I find it quite alarming that the manager is actually telling his players
to give the opposition an opportunity to ensure we are trailing going into the second half
just so he can play his favored 2-6-2 formation and play without caution.
