What's funny about that? That's where we've struggled, when it's come to playing the final ball or a killer pass. We've pressed them back, but at least three times we've got into great positions and a shocking ball from Lucas has broke down our attack.

I took a 'wisdom of crowds' view on them. You could get a very good idea from scanning a page how we were doing, and you learned to disregard the 1 liner comments very quickly. Also was great when a goal went in.

to be honest they didnt contain anything more offensive than you hear shouted around you at the game anyway.

People don't "discuss" the game though. That's the problem after page 2 or 3 it turns into a shower of shit.

True. And the 3 have done a great job, have to say. Just that it's a little annoying not being able to discuss the match with non-whoppers like yourself and all.. Oh well, 2nd half..

It's all very well insisting people didn't 'discuss the game' in the in-game threads, but I know I did. I just filtered out the shit and read the things that looked interesting. I thought this new commentary thread was going to run alongside the old one - I'm not so sure it'll work as it's being done now.

Why not put the ingame thread in a new section and have a filter so users can only post in it if they have x amount of posts? The idiots would soon be filtered out and they couldnt just make new accounts to get access back. You'd have far less moderating to do (though some would still get frustrated).

This is only a trial. If it doesn't work, we'll try another solution. It was suggested by members so it's not like we've gone out and just dreamed this up ourselves.

Amazing isn't it. We stop people discussing the game and they start posting about it in another thread.

Word of warning, if people keep doing this they will lose posting rights. Too many people act like five year olds, if you continue we'll treat you as such and stick a dunce hat on you and send you to sit facing the corner of the room.
