Maybe they all went out the night before the game..... :P :P :P ::)

Only jesting here.

But on a serious note, KD will need to get hold of it early from a disciplinary viewpoint.
He can't afford to be missing key men when he's trying to generate some results-momentum within the club.
I think he'll be having some effin' strong words (maybe he had them roundabout 10.00am this morning?)  as it should be done, in private - where it's nowt to do with the papers or the tellymen.

Not a good start to the day.

Left the house at 4.40 to drive down to the Manchester office for some work today.

Loads of delays on the way down and I'm now sitting opposite a guy who hasnt been off the phone for an hour, and has the loudest and horriblest manc accent you can imagine.

Its gonna be a long day
All the badge kissing in the world don't make up for the fact that they are, frankly, not Liverpool Football Club. It's not their fault. Its just how it is.

Sad really, Even my own lad hardly goes out, by the time I was 12 like many on here I was going to aways, bunking trains etc My lads mates are 13/14 and I can't imagine dropping them in London and them being able to get back with no money, they're nice kids and not really that streetwise, don't know what the answer is either because they'd get eaten alive if they hung around the streets with the money available with selling drugs the level of acceptable violence has snowballed for kids these days, what we solved with sticks and stones can easily end up with knives to guns and as sad as I am they don't have the freedom we had, part of me's glad they don't hang around the streets because I know how nasty things can be today.

Thats why I stayed on the hebrides for so long, the kids could go out and roam like we did.  Must admit though it did nothing to make them streetwise but the daughter being able to do karate and having some punch on her makes me feel better now she's flown the nest.
You won't get me flicking on a (football) phone in.  I'd rather listen to a game of chess on the radio.  Phone ins are a platform for idiots.

Feeling old this evening. Teenage daughter has been in one of those "woe is me" moods. I know she's only being a teenager but Mr Kwalitee is away & he normally deals with her as I have a short temper! She plays the flute & today the bugger has broken, this is the end of the world of course. To add insult to injury I now need to put on reading glasses so that I can see properly to try to mend it. Even with the glasses I can't so it's off to the music shop to spend money getting it fixed.

Ah well, it's my birthday Friday so I'm hoping for a good trip to Anfield on Saturday for my present.

Cheers, I know it turns round pretty quickly as a rule, just a complete pain in the arse while she's in full prima donna mode. I always enjoy the match, it's the thing I did before I got married & had kids. It's like going home. I'll meet my brother &  mates, have a beer & make the most of being out for the day  :D

Funnily enough I know loads of people who loved Paul Walsh, one of those players who just attracted admirers from everywhere. He was very good on his day, another underrated one was Phil Boersma, scored 4 goals in our UEFA cup run of 72-73, never managed to cement a place in the team though.
