I've only seen one of Taylor's titles on telly and that is his first one when he beat Eric Bristow.
I recognise he's a legend and rightly so but I don't put him up there with other sport stars over the years.
Am very glad Cross won. Should be an interesting few years coming up.

MVG vs Cross was the final basically. What separated Cross this tournament was matching his skill with his composure - that was the difference between them in the semi-final.

In the final, composure wasn't as important as he outscored him every set.

The beauty of darts now is the depth of of the field. Very difficult for someone to dominate the world championships like Taylor did as the competition is so strong.

MvG is incredible as his winning pretty much every major even if he doesn't win the world championship every hear.
