Been out, just seen the result and can I just say

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Not easy playing with 9 men is it, and we still had to score their winner. Table not looking too bad all things considered

Absolutely mad game of football.
Wasn’t there a mad game versus these 2 a few years ago too?

Had we have beaten Luton we are 1 point off the top.
Oh well!

At least there is a bit more parity this season.

This could spark something from Chelsea now against City next week. They’ve taken points off both Arsenal and Spurs now.

We kind of had a reprieve this weekend as only City won but we can’t afford to do that again against a team we should be beating.

Every team in that image has a "what if" game (except maybe Spurs), at least we're in a healthy position and well placed to usurp Spurs and stay there abouts.

On Tottenham sending offs: "You have to accept the referee's decision, that is how I grew up. This constant erosion of the referee's authority is where the game is going to get - they are not going to have any authority. We are going to be under the control of someone with a tv screen a few miles away.

"The decision is the decision. In 26 years I have had plenty of bad decisions, I have had plenty fall in my favour. It is what it is."

It was for repeatedly leaving his Technical Area apparently.

That’s suprising considering Arteta is making overlapping runs week in and week out but doesn’t get punished for it.

And us.
Chelsea do seem to do better against better teams.  I think it might be because they've recruited a lot of great athletes that can take advantage of the space granted by the better teams.  That said, it took them 20 minutes to work out the Spurs offside trap  :o

I can't remember a time when the top seven was so peppered with losses and draws by all the teams- in the last 6 games as shown in fuller versions of the table.

All this talk of accepting the referee's decision is bullshit as he knows full well they have no complaints over the sending off anyway.

Those sendoffs were absolutely clear, and if anything Udogie probably should've been sent off earlier. I was pleasantly surprised Romero got the straight red, because the card always seems to stay firmly in the ref's pocket when Romero plays. So yeah, easy to accept the referee's decisions when they don't cost you points, or in fact, get you points.
Oh, these sour times.

No one admires resilience when you were just plain wrong all along - that's just twattishness.

The humorous thing about the Romero sending off is that if he had been sent of for the first tackle there'd have been no penalty, and who could trust that Chelsea side to have scored from open play? By avoiding that red he lived to fight another day and promptly got sent off AND conceded a penalty.
