I wouldn't say he was terrible, but in the first half he was overthrowing his receivers everywhere.

the few drives I watched seemed to be him trying to throw the ball 100mph every time for no reason.

Yeah I agree.  He does seem to overcook every throw.

That Keenum sack on the last Broncos drive was glorious :)

apparently they're 6-0 when they concede less than 20. 0-7-1 when they concede more.

He reminded me of Joe Hart against Wales in the Euros. Seems to make a big deal of being 'psyched up' shouting a lot, and all sorts of bravado, but then it gets to a point where he tips the balance from a decent QB/keeper to a decent QB/keeper who has lost his head and has several mistakes in them. Darnold in the earlier game was much more reserved and level, and appeared to develop into the game while Mayfield didn't seem to.

By a long, long way that was Darnold's best game as a rookie. He's miles off where Mayfield is, albeit with a shitty O-line and no receivers.

If it was my choice and my team I'd want Mayfield of the two to be fair. I just thought he came across a bit hyper

Maybe unfair to say he grew into the game less, clouded by the interceptions

Yeah, the dreadful overthrow interception before HT really looked bad. Favre-esque.

Minnesota just killing the Dolphins right now. Gashing them on the ground.

Thanks for sharing this! Thought at the time it was a nice throw and did a good job on the eyes. Hadn't realised any of those details around the change he made after spotting it. Perhaps he's keeping a level head better than I suggested.

With 202 total offensive yards in the 1st quarter Minnesota becomes the first team in the NFL this season to put up over 200 yards of offense in the 1st quarter of any game. The previous high was 194 yards, posted by the Green Bay Packers against San Francisco in Week 6.

I'd like to see them go back to putting the cameras BEHIND the goal posts on these field goal attempts. I know I'm old but the Vikings just kicked a 36 yarder and I never saw the fuckin' ball go through. Nobody in this room did either.

It's not like the Steelers to completely blow coverage vs the Pats.  I mean it only happens 4, 5 times a season, tops.

This is a really ugly game by the Pats, but Pittsburgh kinda stumbled over the line there. Brady's final 3 throws nowhere near their target.

Love hearing the excitement in Romo's voice on the final drive.

they'll probably go and win in the superdome now!

Brady made some poor choices at the end there, that's a real shame.

Steelers entire season right there, they're a for sure one and done in the playoffs.

So, after losing 3 straight the Steelers beat the Pats, the Eagles beat the Rams after losing to the Cowboys last week, oh & the Cowboys get shut out in Indy, Seahawks lose in overtime at the 49ers, after the Miracle in Miami, the Dolphins get hammered in Minneapolis.

Another crazy weekend in the NFL.

Cowboys *probably* just need 1 win from last 2 games to win NFC East.  Surely they do it at home to the Bucs on Sunday?

Great result for the Eagles last night.  Still need to win both remaining games and hope Vikings lose one to grab a wildcard.  That's even without factoring in the Panthers who play Saints tonight.

One things for sure. Sunday 30th is gonna be nuts :)

Another win for our lads again last night mate.  That's 4-10 now :)

Rams and Bears yet to play.  Wonder if the Niners can have some bearing on who gets the #2 seed assuming Saints get #1.  Unlikely but the way the results have been shaping up lately you never know.
