So... Osweiler-Cook is officially a QB matchup for an actual NFL playoffs game. Christ, that's grim. Luckily enough I have plans for Saturday night so I won't even be tempted to check the game.

For all the Pats fans, here's an article from Deadspin about how great Tom Brady is this season.
Wait!  It's really not Deadspinny at all!  It's just a straight this-dude-is-brilliant-and-heres-how piece.

I  (used to) get my patriots propaganda from Peter King. Now i just skip those parts.

Giants-Packers this Sunday, let's go Big Blue. Pity that either my Giants or the Packers will be eliminated in round 1 because they are both teams worthy of playing in a conference championship game

can't wait for that game, it my very well be one of the best games of the post season.

For all us Dolphins fans on here - we can dream

http://www.cheatsheet.com/sports/6-wild-card-teams-that-won-the-super-bowl.html/?a=viewall

also been a follower since Channel 4 started in 82. Managed to see all this season's games and Dolphins could play out of their skins and still manage to fuck it up, as there always a self-inflicted mistake waiting to happen.

Were you able to watch the AFC semis between Miami and San Diego? It would have been in January '82, I think.
The greatest, greatest football game I have ever seen, bar none. Just amazing from start to finish.

From what I can recall they showed a weekly highlights show only back then with only the Superbowl being shown live...that was the year of the Bears, iirc. the previous season they had shown the "Riggins Superbowl" game live.

Yeah, I guess this one would have been like three years before the Bears won the Super Bowl - no, four - but they were in the mix for a while. This Dolphins-Chargers game was the year the Niners won their first. The Chargers beat the Dolphins in OT, then went to Cincinnati, where it was freezing cold - it stifled the Chargers' high-octane passing game and the Bengals made it to the Super Bowl, where they lost to Ronnie Lott and Joe Montana and Dwight Fucking Clark, whose perfectly ordinary "Catch" in the NFC finals against Dallas has been celebrated ever since for no reason  :P You should try and find a Youtube of that Chargers-Dolphins game if you can - it was extraordinary. Blocked kicks, a perfectly executed hook-and-ladder. Totally fucking great.

Well if Aaron Rodgers continues to play like he's descended from Mount Olympus just to deliver a reign of terror on opposition defenses,  I also think the Packers gave a decent chance  :P

Giants defense has made the biggest improvement in DVOA in over 20 years this season,  but they haven't played a HOF QB playing on cheat mode.

Not confident about tonight to be honest. Hopefully young Cook can step up.

My coupon {largely based on odds}:

Texans
Seahawks
Steelers
Giants

Trev can't stand Jeff.

Raiders to win by the margin of a field goal and an extra point. Cook is a gamer.
