I think Whyte v Potvekin will not be at all competition. As one sided as Fury v Wilder for me but Whyte winning early

I'm not predicting nothing anymore!

I did say Povetkin would need to win within 4 rounds. One round later is bad for nearest to pin.  ;D

Thought Whyte looked lazy, he could have tried to finish him at the end of the round but just stood there. No one can predict that punch though.

Amazing knockout from Povetkin. Whyte will regret not following up on that first knockdown although that uppercut probably justifies his reluctance.

He's still a top 10 Heavy. Ruiz was calling him out a few months back, that could be an option.

anyone think deep down Eddie is happy? Dillian is tied up in a rematch for WBC mandatory spot so that should make undisputed flight easier.

Can anyone think of a rematch that went a different way after a KO in first match?

Yeah think he is happy. He doesn't manage Dillian just promotes him. The cash cow is AJ and the cash fight is AJ V Fury!

Castillo v corrales if you havent seen them watch em belting fights.

Both KO's but vice versa in the rematch.

I expect Whyte to win the rematch by stoppage too.

Lewis Rahman
Joshua Ruiz

Thinking back on those 2 fights, the first ones, both absolute shambles of outcomes. Neither Rahman or Ruiz had any right to be knocking out Lewis or AJ really.

Great example. That first fight finish was Rocky 4 esque in its ridiculousness. What a fight that was. Castillo really flogged him in the rematch

The first Corales - Castillo is an all time great fight particularly the 10th round. Thought it was a TKO stoppage rather than a KO though

Totally agree but the cliche in HW boxing is true imo.

I mean Price almost KO'd Povetkin a few years back that would have been a big shock too as he completely had him in trouble but as we all know what Price is like.

Yeah it was a TKO but same thing in my eyes just stopping a 99% certain KO.

Said to the fellas 'povetkin 5th round ko or its whytes'...
Didn't expect the couple of knockdowns but still predicted the correct outcome. Wish I had money on it. Surely that's got to be it for Whyte. Sparked clean out. There's no way he's a contender now.
