To be honest,  Andy Ruiz is actually a decent boxer. Better than Miller at least.

Andy Ruiz is gonna become a social media meme.

He is actually talented but at his height should easily be 50lbs lighter

Ruiz is a pudding but he's got power and if AJ goes punch for punch on the inside it could be good but expect AJ to finish him inside 8.

Agree that Ruiz is decent but he is cheating himself out of a better career by being far too heavy.

Are they not doing some tour about the 2 fights, probably a publicity stunt.

I hope Danny Jacobs gets the win tonight, can’t stand Canelo.

That would go somewhere near the 'fights I will avoid' list if it happens. I doubt it will because it would surely be a PPV flop.

Froch is so desperate for the limelight. He hates it that he never finished as the best in his division and that Calzaghe will always be rated higher than him.

Who we got for tonight then? Going to be a hell of a fight that's for sure, maybe an even trickier fight for Canelo than GGG, they don't come any tougher than Daniel Jacobs. Personally think it'll be a split decision but dodgy Vegas judges give it as a UD.

Yep think it goes the distance but Jacobs would need to win almost every round clearly to get a look in on points

Listening to Sugar Ray talking through Canelo's past fights is pretty cool thing from DAZN's build up.

I think Canelo in 10 but can see Jacobs doing it.

Ortiz on the undercard looks pretty decent.

Had Canelo by 3,shocked the judges called it so close. If Jacobs let his hands go more in the early rounds he might have won it,surprised the judges called it spot on to be honest.

Canelo nicked that for me. I can see how you could make an argument for Jacobs though.

Jacobs was born at the wrong time. He's lost 2 very close fights to 2 of the best middleweights ever.

Canelo won that for me with ease.

Jacobs is a good fighter but not on the league of Canelo or GGG

Just watched it. Good fight, Canelo rightfully won. Jacobs will be rueful he took too long to get in to the fight.

Is it just me or does anyone else find Canelo really annoying?

Can't stand him at all; comes across as a bellend but I suppose most uber-successful people do.

He deserved the nod last night but he has the benefit of knowing that his opponent needs to clearly win 8-9 rounds to get a points win. He is a very good fighter with solid whiskers so it could be some time before he gets beaten.

Not just you. He's a phenomenal fighter, what he's done already at such a young age is amazing. But the failed drugs test and the questionable scorecards he's had means there will always be an asterix next to his name for me.

Love watching Canelo fight. Defensive but still on front foot. Always bringing the heat. Hope he goes for Andrade and gets all the belts.

Should stay away from Callum though. He is a much better fighter obviously but he can't negate Callum's physical advantages

Read something about GGG recently and if it's true, he's a bigger dickhead than Canelo. Personally think he did Abel Sanchez dirty by lowballing him, funny what money does to people.

I think Canelo looked good value for the victory last night and it wasn't his best performance but fair play to him for taking it to the bigger guy, he always steps up when it matters.

Triple G might be a dickhead for not giving money to the guy who brought him to where he is now but Canelo failed a drug test and is as dodgy as fuck.  :D

Campbell will be given no chance but his style could be a problem from Loma IMO. I think Loma will win a much harder fight than many think.

Also, Usyk is injured so his fight with Takam is postponed unfortunately.

Pac at 75% wins this. I don't rate Thurman to be honest and think Crawford schools him. Thurman has only 29 pro fights in a career spanning 11 and a half years which is just odd even allowing for injuries like.

RIP Lederman and also Bert Cooper.

Not the first time he's said something like that. Funny to hear Bellew up in arms though, he was always on about dying in the ring.

He should talk to the likes of Barry McGuigan and other boxers who have been involved in ring tragedies. Ask them if they are proud to have done it or whether they spent most of their lives filled with regret; the absolute bellend (That's Wilder not McGuigan!).

I think Breazeale will work him but fall short in the end.

Should be a good night tonight.

You've got Billy Joe Saunders fighting for the WBO Super Middleweight belt, Joe Joyce vs Ustinov for the European title, Josh Taylor fighting Ivan Baranchyk for the IBF Super Lightweight strap & Inoue also fighting in the WBSS Semi Final. Following which Wilder faces Breazeale in New York.

Outside of the US, no-one knows him. And even in the States he's not exactly a huge superstar like Joshua is over here. Which is why him turning down £60 million for the DAZN deal is ridiculous, guy has ideas way above his station and thinks he's a lot better than he really is.
