Sean Dyche dedicates most of his career to Burnley, ends up at Everton.

Vincent Kompany dedicates 2 years of his career to Burnley, ends up at Bayern.

Levels.

Best of the rest ?

Best of the rest in the Corrupt Premier  League and discounting the Sly Six?

Although now Villa are in the even more corrupt Champions League and will no doubt be invited into the terminally corrupt ESL surely their best if the rest titles should be discounted? ;D

Genuinley hilarious some of the stuff on Twitter from the Bloos fans about Kompany and Dyche :lmao

Like they honestly think Bayern should be going after Dyche :lmao

I get Kompany to Bayern is odd to many, but it’s obvious WHY they think it can work, due to the sort of players he’ll get to coach - and that small fact he speaks German.  But honestly, these Bloos fans are just mad!

They all wanted Dyche out a month ago. One derby win and he's the messiah.

One upside to playing such regressive dogs of war football is you never risk losing your manager (unless Alex Ferguson handpicks him).

Don't forget Digne's "best of the rest" title for this season

To qualify for ‘Best of the rest’ you can’t win a trophy nor finish in the European places therefore Villa fail to qualify for the ‘Best of rest’ due to success.

However Everton can claim Champions League qualification due to Digne’s role at Villa.

I know the rules of vicarious success are complicated but that is the fault of the Corrupt Pl and, no doubt, us.

This is just crazy for so many reasons.  Blackburn, Leeds and Newcastle were all part of the "big" however many clubs at the time but their acheivements are allowed?  Everton were a founding member of the Premier League and could have taken advantage of it but they have been terribly run so are where they are now.

Most of all this just highlights the shot teams who have underachieved.

Was just thinking that. Spurs and Chelsea were other pretty shit for the first few years of the Premier League too weren’t they. Assuming they’re included in this.

I thought being ever present in the Premier League qualified you as being a “big club”

Is that a tacit acknowledgment that they’re the only one of that group that’s not then? Because that’s with all the other ever presents in the the Premier League (+Manchester City) taken out.

That's funny. It's amazing how many people have forgot that it just used to be a evil 'big 4'. Spurs only got up there due to being well-ran over the past 20 years. Man City with the type of financial cheating that Everton hoped for with Moshiri.

Also apparently they’re a proper club and all scousers follow them , even though their own survey said otherwise. Idiots

I remember for years (pre-FC Big Stand) there were Newcastle fans who used to go on about how they were a bigger club than Liverpool because they got bigger attendances.

They owe the TV money to a lender.

That was last year's money.

Now they have stayed up they will borrow against the 24/25 TV revenues which they are now guaranteed. Unfortunately, that will now incur even higher interest rates because the risk has increased.

So what’s the vig? 20%, 30%?

They were reportedly paying 12% when rates were at a historical low. No rational lender will touch them so it is back to Rights and Media Funding for another payday loan. As you say it could basically be any rate RMF chooses.

I am sure in their next PSR deductions they will list both the war in Ukraine and the failure of their preferred lender Wonga as mitigations.

Well the countdown has started towards the latest funding deadline.

They seem to be split between thinking the Crystal Palace Yank will be the saviour or will be as bad as the Glazers or H&G.

So no definite news, more doom and gloom with the occasional fantasist predicting European football in three seasons.

Oh, and apparently Sean has said he doesn’t rate any of their youngsters so no hope of squad fillers there.
