What time is the kick-off against Lyon, the site i was just looking at says it's 9 a.m eastern? That's the same time as the womens game against Leicester.

For the first time in a long time I am actually looking forward to us playing a friendly.

But 21st Dec can’t come soon enough

Yeah, it's really weird being in December and not having any games. Despite how our domestic season's going, can't wait to get started again.
We have to change from doubter to believer. Now.

Yeah for some mad reason they've arranged it at the same time which is a real shame.

Darwin Nunez will join up with the Liverpool squad on their Dubai training camp on December 12, having been given a week off following his World Cup exploits with Uruguay.

the ‘having the camp in dubai to make it easier for plaeyrs in the world cup’ was a load of shit really.  Being as none of them where ever going to be going straight to Dubai, and in fact, Darwin is the only one there who will join with the training camp anyway.

Such a shame they went there, no need for Liverpool to be having training camps in Dubai.  No excuse for it.

I'd like to think if I worked for the club I could find a place which isn't majorly far from Qatar with good weather, good facilities, away from UK media/fans....but without the human rights abuses of Dubai.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Where we could have held a mid-pre season training camp in a country which doesn't have appalling human rights abuses...? But decent weather and facilities? Really? I dunno Red Berry. North Korea.

Its a shit decision. It doesnt mean we need to start whataboutting or suggesting the club or manager can never speak out on anything again but the fact remains...its not a good call. To say we've chosen it to stay close to our players at the WC is ridiculous, particularly considering those players are all likely to shoot off elsewhere on a short break before they rejoin the squad anyway (as Darwin has).

don’t think that was even a big factor considering the players all where/are going on holiday straight after and most won;t even go to Dubai now. Sounds like it was used an excuse to make their poor choice palatable.   They could have done what they did in the past and gone to places like the Canary isles.

Lol. Let our moral compass take us to a country that has helped Putin and his mates launder blood money for the last few decades. Every country has blood on it's hands. Grow up.
