Was just thinking, if it's 6 weeks from when he got injured, he would be back for the first game after the international break which is Brighton. If not then hopefully sheff utd which is the week after iirc

Sheff utd would seem to be a good game to ease him in.
His numbers are quite remarkable. I don't like him as much as I do diaz, but I'd have to play a fit jota before diaz.

It’s so hard to stop us when we have Jota as an option. From the start or from the bench. Him, Nunez, Salah and then Gapko and Diaz as able support is easily the best attack in terms of squad depth in the league. Will be brilliant to have him back.

When he came back from his previous injury, he was a man possessed and in the best form of his career. Relentless, driving past people, scoring goals from sheer force of will; if we can get him back to that level for a handful of games at the end of the season, it could have a massive effect on the trophies won.

Paradoxically an injury can have an upside for the affected player. They may have got the injury by being overplayed and/ or lacking a full pre-season. The time in training can make the player stronger, improve stamina and improve technique and positional play etc

There is also the added drive of making up for lost time, some players come back with an immediate point to prove.
