He may have, but he'd be stupid to not try and get the move and test himself in the PL.
Agreed, he'd get more money at Leeds and a chance to show what he can do in the Premier League. I feel Kent is one of those Gayle-level players, who'd be very very good in the Championship but not quite quality enough to be consistently good in the Premier League.
Looking at Leeds' squad though, there's a fair few positions where I think they'll need to strengthen in order to stay up. Goalkeeper, Centre Half, Wide Midfielders, Striker. It's a lot of churn unless Bielsa is happy to go much with what he's got.
