Great trailer but that's not really saying much. Bond trailers are always good.
Skyfall was great. Visually stunning, Javier Bardem was used well, good new introductions of Q and Moneypenny and a pretty simple but engaging plot. I think they must have got the marketing and everything spot on with it, because I remember at the time everyone seemed to love it.
Spectre by contrast was dreadful. A complete waste of Christoph Waltz and Monica Belluci and in general just a mess of a film. People don't miss an opportunity to find fault with the series, and Spectre gave them plenty of ammunition. I also didn't believe in any kind of connection between Craig and Seydoux, which doesn't bode well here...although it looks like they're being pretty cryptic about how she's used.
Go back and look at the teaser trailer for Spectre and it looked amazing. The look and tone looked spot on.
If you're thinking of the same one I am, I completely agree. I remember it being very stripped back and minimal, with a lot of snow shots. It had an almost eerie atmosphere. I admit I fell for it.
