Today`s the day.

Feels like getting to the Champions League final has taken the pressure off a little bit today and placed more pressure on City. Can`t see City taking anything less than three points at Brighton but as this week has shown, stranger things can happen.

Irrespective of results today, Klopp and the boys deserve our utmost respect for fighting every step of the way this season on our behalf.

Inshallah indeed  :wave

Just have this amazing, almost giddy feeling in the pit of my stomach that Brighton will snatch something at home to City today..

Just have to ensure we do the business..

I believe, but I dare not hope.

Total anachronism I know, but that’s how it is.

Very calm about today, but I was about Tuesday, where I felt similar as I do today.

Football, eh??

Let’s just win today against Wolves though and see what happens, as anything is possible as we should know.

Nothing else to say really, but Allez, allez, allez.

Oh. And come on Brighton of course... 😂

This could be the greatest day of our lives. It might not be but what a crazy thought I have burbling away in the background! And if it isn’t and we finish second we should all be proud of what our boys have done those season, thank them for that, dust ourselves down and go and win a European Cup in a few weeks time.

But imagine!...

This is the first day in my 29 years on this earth where I woke up knowing I could see us win the league this day.

No dreams, no hopes, no "this time next year"s.... the cold, stark reality is we have a chance to do it today.

The next time I go to bed it could be after finally seeing us lift that trophy. It is a strange feeling when something you have coveted and craved so much is within your grasp. It is scary. I am not being dramatic when I say that my life could be changed forever in the next few hours.

Or, you know, it could all go up in shite. Either way, up the fucking reds!!
Let us never forget Rafael Benitez and what he did for us. A fighter full of guts and passion. A gentleman full of class and dignity. A football manager full of intelligence and pure genius. A Legend.

Btw why are people calling this the first time in ages when we have a chance of winning the league on the final day. We were in the same position in 2013-14 too.. needing to win our game and hoping for City to drop points.

If the hope kills you, then it’s probably not the sport for you anyway.

We needed them to lose though. We were two points and about -12 goal difference.

We could have won it in 13/14 but it would have taken City losing at home to a shite West Ham. It never really felt on. Then we went one down early and by the time we turned it around City were 2 up I think so it just never really seemed likely.

This time they’re away and even a draw could do it for us so it’s definitely more ‘on’ than 13/14 was.

Your right we went into the last game against Newcastle with an outside chance of winning it , both city and us were at home and we needed West Ham to beat them and us win . They scored pretty early on if I recall and it was all over then . This time there away and a draw can let us in . Where a bit closer this time but not too much

Ahh yes.. that was big Sam’s West Ham, I remember now. I think the feeling then was one of disappointment before the match and that we’d already blown our chance at the title. Probably why we feel so much more positive now.

Its ended up like a 33 frame snooker world final where the last frame is going to be the decider by a re-spotted black and a toss of the coin for who goes first. This is because we have either been in the lead or hung on right to this end. We are down to the rub of the green. We have made this league thrilling for everyone who watches it by preventing a 2 month parade like last year. Literally hundreds of millions will be grateful for this.
