Yeah Dimitrov, Raonic, Berdych and Cilic. What an easy run. Expected not to drop a single set in that right?

Dinitrov and Raonic were terrible against him.

Be nice for him to be pushed.

And he obviously had nothing to do with them being terrible.

So if a player breaks his leg, he should keep going because it's a final? Why give further damage to injury?

Well if your legs broken then I think your in unable to stand territory. Nobody wants to walk off court unless they absolutely have to, especially on the biggest stage.

Murray was plainly injured all tournament but played & made it worse,Still didn't walk off though

I wouldn't carry on if I was in his position and got broken in the final set. No chance of a come back from there.

Are you saying you'd quit a Wimbledon Final just because you were getting smashed by one of the greatest, if not the greatest male player of all time?

He's clearly the best player to ever play the game but these players are beaten before they start

1927 since someone came back from 2-0 down in a Wimbledon final.

I presume that bloke wasn't playing Federer though?

Still yet to drop a set. If he wins this one it will be the first time in 38 years and only the 2nd time ever a player has done that at Wimbledon.

By the way, I don't think there's any physical injury with Cilic. Injury breaks are just trying to disrupt Federer and get some time to recompose himself.

Worst Grand Slam final ever!

I remember the first Pete Sampras Goran Ivanisevi final being horrible to watch. Lleyton Hewitts Wimbledon win was a crappy final as well.

I can understand not enjoying the (in my view justified) wankfest over him but I don't understand why anyone wouldn't like the man himself. He's a bloody brilliant tennis player and seems like a top bloke as well.

Lets not start this shit again. It was bad enough that Federer's achievements were played down because he won many titles in an era where Nadal, Murray and Djokovic were not around.

The reason that Federer had this draw was because the others were not good enough.

Can't take away anything from Federer at his age to be winning this again is beyond belief.

cilic seems to have sever blisters based on the commentary. Never seen a final this short

Even worse for Cilic, he's now being patronised to death on the BBC. 'Oh well done, you've held your serve after 4 deuces'.

I'm thinking of hiring a sniper to sit on the roof and take out Andrew Castle as he sits in the commentary box. I'll pay him double if he gets Henman with the same bullet.  Are they really the BBC's flagship commentary team?!  :no

How is this commentary team BBCs A-Team? Boris is absolutely awful, and Castle is just cringe worthy.
