This isn't to single out the individual posters but rather to highlight how far we've come this season and appreciate what we've got, regardless of what happens on Sunday. I will hold my hands up..I was as guilty as the rest of those who strayed into the 'won't make top4' camp. I was wrong.

What i'm trying to say is that from this minute onwards i'm forgetting about the fear of failure.. Yes, of course we could win the big one, but fck it, I'm done. BR and the team (backroom staff etc etc) i salute you (but not in a literal Sherwood-esque way).

Although in saying that, lets have these Manc c*nts..I hope we sing the team off the pitch, for their efforts on Sunday and for the season as a whole..

I don't know what all the anxiety, nervousness or whatever is about. It's another football game and we will win it. I'm gonna go to bed shortly, have a dream about something not football related, wake up early, eat the Missus' best breakfast and then watch the lads beat the crap out of who the heck we are playing again?

I'm feeling relaxed because our lads are relaxed.

Oddly, as the week has progressed and the match has got closer and closer... nervousness has given way to excitement. We should have had them at the Etihad, we're in great form and every single member of the club - from the secretary (as mentioned by Rodgers!) to the fans - will be giving it their all.
I've got a bet on us to win with both teams to score, and I'm on a bit of a hot-streak lately so...

COME ON YOU FUCKING REDS!

I'm feeling similar. I've been nervous about this match for the past couple of weeks, but, in these past few days leading up to it now, with the run we've been on and the form we've been in, it really feels like we can't be beaten right now. While that may be a bit much to say, I'm definitely feeling much calmer and more confident about this match these past few days than I thought I would be.

I'm sure I'll still be a nervous wreck Sunday morning though  :P

But, I really believe - and know - that we can do this. And I have full confidence in that happening.

Just put 15 quid on Luis first goal and 3-0
To us at 100/1.
I think that is a heart not head bet. But
I feel drunkenly confident .
We will not lose this

It's quarter past 6 in the morning in lillypool sir. I've had it all night on seel street, it's been a belting little night, just that excited for Sunday.

Literally cannot wait.

It will go OFF up here if we win the league and after 6 years of living up here I'm due to see us win something. It will go OFF I'm telling ya! Already know it'll be the best night of my life.

I am properly buzzing already. I hope the supporters who are fortunate to be there make Anfield as intimidating as it's been for any opposition, and for them not to waver if things aren't going our way. I'll be doing my part in a small pub home to the Liverpool supporters in Melbourne at 12.37am on the Monday morning.

Rodgers has sent the message. It's up to all of us to unleash hell now.
Which pubs are good to go to here in melbourne mate?

The media and bookmaker hype worry me, everyone has us as favourites, there's a great deal of expectation.

I've grown up with us always as the underdogs, perhaps this is a tide change.

The Imperial - off Spring and Bourke (I think). It's the home of Liverpool supporters in Melbourne. Will have to get there early on Sunday night to get in I reckon!

Just went on blue moon to see what they're thinking in the build up to the match, all there was were silly comments about heysel and hillsborough. I don't think I've ever seen a more moronic set of fans. Absolute idiots.

I grew up with this feeling and I've missed it. Expectation, excitement, belief. The mantle of favourites feels comfortable. Not arrogance but the knowledge that any team that comes to Anfield and wins against us deserves the accolade. I remember how we stayed and applauded Arsenal even though our hearts were broken in 89 because they deserved their win.

I feel that excitement again now. I feel the belief and the surge of pride.

I'm feeling relaxed because our lads are relaxed.

Yep.

As long as they play the game, not the occasion we'll be fine.

Let City worry about the crowd, and Hillsborough, we need to blank the fucking lot of it for 90 minutes, not get swept away by the sea of emotion.

Let us not forget, it was City that threw the spanner into Utd's '50th Munich' anniversary.

Stay focused. Win the game.
13mins - Bournemouth have gone home. Utd kicked off anyway. Still 0-0 as Smalling passes it back to De Gea.

Whatever happens in this game and wherever we finish, first, second or third, it's been a great season, lets hope its the springboard we have needed to get some big players in and challenge in Europe, next season will be even bigger than this season, coping with Europe as well as challenging in the league....

So even if this one is draw and we win all our remaining 4 games, we'll end up with 87 points.

If this one is draw and City lose even one of their remaining 6 games (which they can very well lose. Everton away, Palace away, West Ham at home are all tricky) and win the other 5, they will end up with 86 points.

and I need to sleep.
