My mate works at Sports Direct (not in store, but higher up in position), and he reckons LFC, along with City, Chelsea and Arsenal will be releasing four kits next season, PL home, away, third and a 'special' home kit for cup games.

Seemed really implausible to me - although you never know what clubs are gonna do to make more money - thought I'd share that anyway, in case anyone else has heard any rumblings themselves.

Sounds exactly like the sort of thing clubs might do. I mean we had a special European kit ten years ago, so a cup kit sounds totally plausible.

If i was an owner id do the whole ,you design/colour your own shirt like nike do with trainers.I dont see a problem with a club releasing 100 kits if they want.You dont have to buy it.Its not like anyones arsed aboot all the other gear like training stuff and leisure wear etc and they change that stuff every year.Its fashion

As the kit deals become for and more lucrative for the clubs, then the manufacturers are going to want more from their end, so can easily see NB/Adidas/Nike whoever wanting to make as many kits as they can get away with.

I watched a full Calcio Storico game recently. Amazing stuff.  Like watching some lads having a kickabout in Concert Square.

To be honest, I'm surprised we don't already have a different kit for Europe. We did in the early 2000's for one, maybe two seasons.

I'm not suggesting we do it, just surprised that we haven't.

Two of them are definitely goalie kits. It's not like Fiorentina has that big of a demand for away shirts at the end of the day  At Sampdoria, Inter, Cagliari, Genoa, Crotone and Hellas at a stretch.

The kit looks friggin gorgeous, though. NB have done a great job with this season's kits to be fair, thank fuck the days of weird tribals are seem to be gone.

Same. Would have definitely bought at least one or two things from the home training gear if it wasn't for that logo spoiling them. Anyone know how long our deal with them lasts? Hopefully it's up soon.
