I like the green and white one. Takes me right back. I know we didn't win anything that year but we were a lot of fun to watch and left a big impression on me as a ten year old!

Me too. Just wish the socks had pale green and white hoops under the black. Missed a trick there, IMO.

Those mannequins are setting unrealistic body standards.

Yep, they should use beer-bellied mannequins to cover the fan base.

Good to see the away kit is the one we saw a while back, looks nice. Still wondering whether I should just find my 95/96 kit and wear that instead and hope nobody notices the 3 stripes :) Errr, it should still fit me :D

That's actually the new fourth kit. The marketing campaign is being headed by club greats, such as the legendary Jan Molby as pictured above.

Home kit is pretty good. Away kit isn't horrendous which is to be honest, I'd settle for 'not horrendous' when it comes to Warrior/New Balance away and third kits.

I've just been into both club shops in Liverpool city centre. They've cleared spaces for the kits but none out as yet. An assistant said even they haven't seen them in the flesh yet, but they will be on sale from tomorrow (Saturday).

Cheers.

There are no New Balance concept shops near where I live and I doubt Sports Direct get first dip for new jerseys. May mean I have to order from clubshop online.

Club is run by clowns.

Pre-ordered the kit for the baby and asked for it to be delivered to Anfield. Didn't get my confirmation email so went down yesterday. Hundreds of age 2-3 on a rack. No explanation why his kit wasn't there and they wouldn't let me take one from the rack. They've told me they'll fast-track it and it'll be in by midweek.

Was it impossible to just buy the kit and cancel the other order?

Checked out the blue/white and the green/white kits in the NB store in London. They both look better in real life than on pictures but not sure who would shell out £90 for the blue/shirt when presumably we won't even wear it to play in?

Yeah. They told me I'd have to take it up with my bank as they'd taken the money and wouldn't issue a refund straight away and it'd need to go "upstairs". Couldn't be arsed reading the Sale of Goods Act to her but fucking joke in terms of customer service.

Thought I'd treat myself and initially got one of the Elite home shirts for the first time - in a medium. The fit is completely different to standard shirts, so clingy around the rib-cage.

Sent back, ordered the standard shirt in medium - much better  :-*

Never again.

Bought myself the new home top in xxxl (yes I'm a fat bastard😀) and it fits great. My son asked me what I wanted for Father's Day. Asked him to get me the away top. Same size as home top. Just tried it on and it's much too small. Watch out when you buy it.

Serious question here. I'm thinking of picking up one of our shirts to wear in the gym/cycling etc.
I know the older adidas shirts had all this 'climacool' "technology" in them and most sports stuff has all this jargon attached to it.
For those of you who've worn both our adidas and Warrior/NB shirts have you noticed a difference in shirt quality/comfort/practicality etc?

For example, I've worn a cotton t-shirt in footy before and it just gets heavy especially if there's a bit of rain.
I've got an old 90s shirt of ours and that is just itchy and uncomfortable to play in, but ok for posing (!)
Whereas I gather that a lot of these newer shirts are made to 'wick' away moisture and to be as light as possible? Is that right?

Adidias v Warrior v New Balance? Which is best for general sporty performance...?

Just a heads up anyone who pre-ordered the home kit, the £10 voucher expires at midnight tonight.

I'm struggling to find anything to put it towards, though. Would have definitely bought some training gear if it didn't have "BETVICTOR" all over it.
