You'd have access to the full report for this year (which will include the WU deal) in 2018 mate. For previous years, the books are available online.
Ok cheers :wave

If we decided against the sleeve sponsor you would have just as many people giving out that we are miles behind commercially compared to other teams.

Personally don't mind it but would like to see the additional revenue put towards the team.

Only alcoholic beverages companies should be allowed to be shirt sponsors in football.

At least the Premier League hasn't gone full Liga MX just yet.. :wave

Club America's kit for this season:

Two sponsors on the front, two on the back, one on the sleeve... :wave
Either we are a club of supporters or become a club of customers.

At least that extra £5m a year will go straight back to the fans with reduced prices though.

:butt :butt :butt :butt

Sorry to be rude but some of you lot wouldn't be able to run a Business for a single day if you truly believe in things like this. You can't be competitive if you don't have money to spend.

You get money from sponsorships.

You don't then throw said money away so fans can get in for cheaper when they already fill the stadium at current prices.

Makes zero business sense, and it does have to be ran as a business otherwise LFC will cease to exist/do a Rangers if it is ran like a bunch of amateurs.

As for United/Tinder getting more, like it or not United for now attracted more lucrative sponsorship deals than we do, due to their more recent successes, that isn't going to be the case forever wether it's us or someone else usurping that title from them

Give UEFA a slice of the pie and they will soon allow sleeve sponsors slapped all over kits in European games.

Possibly, but that's not happening this season.

LFC site says kits will be sold with all CL patches and no sleeve sponsor.

That does it, I was planning on hitting my local Western Union branch to send some much needed money to a deposed Nigerian Prince that I recently befriended, but THIS is the final straw.

Sorry Princey.

Exactly.

Plus no-one knows what the arrangement is between the clubs and the sponsors. United could be giving them corporate boxes, promising certain time with the players for commercials etc.

It's like the difference with their Adidas deal and us with NB. I believe Adidas have rights over all the club gear not just the team-wear.

Also, in all honesty Tinder is a really odd sponsor to have imo. They probably have to pay a premium just because of the company that they are.

The problem for me isn't with the club for getting a sleeve sponsor, that was inevitable once the rules changed. The problem is with the Premier League for changing the rules and allowing such shit. It looks awful on all the kits I've seen, really unnecessary.

Some one who values design, this is an atrocious move. I think main shirt sponsor can add a nice touch to the overall look of the shirt. E.g. Our I think is class, city, Chelsea with Samsung, Arsenal, etc. anything with a .com is appalling in my opinion. And if I were a United fan, you wouldn't catch me dead in their current kit, that Chevrolet logo, obnoxious and hideous.

I'd rather we tried to raise the money in other ways than keep bastardizing the shirt every chance we get, a la warriors designs. The same way I'd probably rather have us drift in mid table than have owners like city Chelsea or some unknown Chinese entity. Or be floated on the stock market like united. This is just another step towards my disillusionment with the modern game. This years will probably be my last kit.

Sorry for the rant, it's been pent up.

Yeah long ago.

As Mr Smith says, that's what the game is now. Think you either come to terms with it as it is, or disown it and get your kicks somewhere else.

Might start going to the Merseyside Lawn bowling league to get my kicks then. I just don't like the way modern football is going and I'm entitled to voice my opinion it's just becoming a game of utter greed.

I bet you the other clubs with sleeve sponsors are doing just the same thing.

If the other clubs went and told you to jump off a bridge etc etc etc

What I actually find grim about all this isn't the fact we have a sponsor (yes it looks shit and ruins the kit), its the aspirational video that comes along with it, tweets from Peter Moore saying how exciting our world famous brand is to capitalism on many levels yadda yadda. Sort out your transfer policy, sort out fan relations with the people who go to the game week in and out, sort out getting kids into the game and affordable tickets. And then you can plaster the fucking kit from top to bottom in LED screens for all I care.

Actually, this: http://worldfootballindex.com/2017/08/liverpool-shirt-sleeve-sponsor/amp/
