This is the team that destroyed city at St Mary's. Won't be half as easy as most people think. Hoping for a win but thinking more likely a draw.
Looking back at the highlights of that City game I thought the result flattered Southampton a bit. City were pretty woeful in defence and didn't take their chances (although Barry did at the wrong end). Lambert is a bit of a handful and Puncheon can shoot, but they still rode their luck at times in that game - Zabelata made a great run down the right which deserved finishing and Aguero was denied by a bit of a worldie from the keeper.
I also think that the 1-0 at Anfield flattered them - it was a game where we didn't take our chances. OK Lambert was denied by the width of the gap in Matt LeTissier's teeth, but it was a game we could have (should have) buried easily, Jonjo, Luis, Stevie etc all had good chances. Lucas was only just back as well, remember, and only finding his feet.
I expect they will score, but be strong, keep focused and I think it is a game we can win with a margin, 1-3!
