Not an unexpected victory but the margin certainly was.  Told my Bayern supporting workmate that their defence would give Barcelona nothing and that it would be easy to score against them and so it's proved.  Not even Barcelona can come back from this!

  • Mané & Salah, your defence is terrified!
What struck me most there was at the end when it panned up to the backroom staff all sitting there in suits, all shaking hands. It looked very professional. I very rarely see anything like that at Anfield. It's a shame but our infrastructure is so far off either of these two clubs.

What's worse is that Bayern also remind me of us a few years ago.

Great fans, great stadium, great kit, great manager, great players.

There was a time not so long ago when we were beating teams 4-0 at home...
And away as well.

Better not go there.

Kassai must retire.

Horrible refereeing tonight.

So. Fucking. What.

It's fucking amazing how unsatisfied some on here prove to be.

All Prem teams OUT including the Mancs and STILL moaning about who's left in it and what they're doing.

Just be happy that a non-English side is gonna lift ol' big ears.

Please.
Spot on! Enjoy It Whoever wins it. It's not a English team! Last year was fucking unbearable!

Well done Ref... Although Munich were better he gifted them two goals... Its baffling how bad the refs are....
Anyways Barca were crap and I was suprised they didnt make subs... Pedro and Sánchez were crap and Villanova looked clueless... Playing an injured Messi didnt help....

Have to root for Real / Dortmund - cant stand Munich at all...

He also spared Barcelona from giving Bayern two clear penalties.

Let's just make this clear: Barcelona are out. There is absolutely no way they'll be coming back from 4-0 down. It would be incredibly difficult to do against a mediocre team, let alone against this Bayern side. I wouldn't be surprised if they went away and smashed them on the break.

They didn't create a single good chance tonight. The centre-back had two fairly decent ones from set-pieces and there were two crosses that caused problems, and that was it. Unbelievable.

Will be the same when that wanker Klopp and his boyband make the final or (God forbid) even win the whole thing... I'm dreading the thought of that. At least, with Bayern they can't do much more than they're already doing...

All German final in London?

Brilliant.

I'd put money on Robben having 27 one on one's, and getting only one on target.

Barca have become far too slow with their buildup and they barely create any chances against well organised teams. Bayern are playing the perfect style of football - constant pressing and HIGH TEMPO.

I was going to put 'in Europe' in that sentence but thought it might be obvious. ;)

Oh yeah accidental hand balls and blatant cheating are the same thing. Robben is a c*nt and always will be, hasn't changed since he was at Chelsea was a cheat then and he is a cheat now.

This will go down as the most one-sided two-legged latter stages win between two giants ... since our 5-0 aggregate win over Madrid in 2009!  ;)
United used to win titles on easy street, time for us to take over that real estate
