Nuri Sahin Gone To Dortmund OFFICIAL
« on: January 11, 2013, 05:23:36 pm »
Liverpool Football Club have confirmed an agreement has been reached with Real Madrid allowing midfielder Nuri Sahin's loan deal to end, so he can join another club with immediate effect.

Sahin arrived at Anfield for a season-long stay in August 2012, but will now spend the rest of the campaign with Borussia Dortmund, the side with whom he won the 2011 German championship.

The Real Madrid man made a total of 12 appearances for the Reds, scoring three goals - including a match-winning brace against West Brom in the Capital One Cup.

Everybody at LFC would like to wish Nuri all the best for the future.

Seemed to slow for the premier league, sadly.

No doubting the lad is a very classy player, but just didnt show it here, maybe his injury problems have played a major part in it.

Good luck back at Dortmund

Really disappointed but wish him well.

Hopefully we get some answers about that. Joining bundesliga champions, scored 3 goals in 12 appearences and didn't really seem to get a proper chance. I mean, he hasn't been that poor considering joining a new league and been out injured for a while. Doesn't add up.

He just wasn't in the plans going forward. Simple as that. Happy he'll be going back to Dortmund and getting some game time though. Good looking chap, I certainly won't be forgetting his smile.

Came with a big reputation & Rodgers bent over backwards to sign the lad.

For whatever reason, our fault or his, it hasn't worked out. Odd one.

I hope he's able to get back to the player he was the first time around at Dortmund.

Just didn't work here. No luck either as he got a chance to show what he could do against Udinese and then had to go off with a broken bonce.

No amount of whinging and moaning will bring him back to the club so just wish him well and lets move on.

We took a risk signing him, it clearly didn't work out, this is best for both parties involved. All the best.

Nah. Just reminiscing on a world class player playing for us for only a short period, hardly giving him a crack, and letting him go to be world class elsewhere. Hypothetical, but i wouldn't bet against it.
