Are these the thickest least fucking self aware c*nts out there?

Honestly what a fucking gang of victims.

Would it not just have been easier for the FA to win it last year instead when we were top at Christmas. They could have given us a helping hand by, I don’t know, sending off the Man City captain when we played them, or not appointed a ref from Manchester.

Thick as fuck and twice as paranoid this lot.

Oh my god.

They've got the most expensive side ever assembled in any sport, ever. They won three major trophies last season. They got a record points haul.

And yet there's a conspiracy to make them fail.

But actually it's simple. They're not happy. It feels shit. Success isn't supposed to feel like this.

Why does it feel shit? Because it doesn't mean anything. To anyone. To them, to everyone.

The anger and paranoia is just a way of explaining why it feels shit even though you've got it all.

Well there were assaults left, right and centre in my school.

Situation reversed and everyone would be dismissing it.

At school yes.

We’re talking about grown adults in a place of work. Whilst I accept that Sterling may have more in common with a petulant child than a level headed adult, unfortunately for him he will be judged by the standards of the latter not the former.

I think what the past week has underlined, without any doubt, is that we are the superior club. Superior players, superior manager, superior fans, superior everything really.

After the leaked emails showed them fiddling the books for years, they're still a million miles away from being viewed as a big club. I'm sure they'll find another £300 million down the back of the sofa for players in the next window though.

Little prick. Not even man enough to apologise. It’s not up to him to speak for Joe and an obvious attempt to spread the blame.

No attempt to say it was wrong to grab a fellow professional by the neck - it’s not his fault because he ‘loves the game’ so much...

Why? Its between him and Joe.
Do you apologise on social media every time you have an argument with someone?
That's a fair point, but the fact remains that not publicly apologising is an own goal on Sterling's behalf because it makes him look arrogant and lacking in humility. Doing the right thing is important but, sometimes, being seen to be doing the right thing is even more important.

Honestly, do you think Gomez cares?

Boot on the other foot and we wouldn't be saying the same.

Move on, nothing to see here.
In isolation, there's maybe little to see, but in the wider context it's another example of the absolutely staggering unravelling of an entire organisation. From manager to players right down to the fanbase, they are in complete meltdown. This latest strop is just another in a long, embarrassing line of them.

The reason I don't buy that idea is because to any remotely objective person, this latest incident has made Sterling (and by association, Abu Dhabi FC ) look really stupid just at the time they were so desperate to present themselves as victims.

Before the game on Sunday we were hearing how Mane is supposedly a diver. We've heard endless drivel about the team bus. Abu Dhabi have been carefully trying to cultivate a victim status so it paints Liverpool in a negative light and sees public opinion align with Abu Dhabi. Sterling acting like a prize arsehole messes that all up in the eyes of any sensible, objective person.

Of course, morons with an agenda and no regard for truth will still stand by the aggressor rather than Gomez, but they just out themselves for what they are by doing so. I always enjoy it when an arsehole proves he's an arsehole.

And yet some idiots are saying Gomez should have been sent home because Sterling is the better (more important?) player.

When you have an army of sycophants willing to whitewash every incident, no matter how stupid, they can get away with almost anything because the memory imprint is the spin rather than the reality.

Ridiculous forum set up as well, some 10 posts then new page appears, a thread on there can have 200 pages, but 10 posts a page, on here something like 25 plus[depending on size of post] per page, oh & the customary video on auto load, when you click o a page.

Anyone reckon there's anything at all to these Pep to Bayern rumours being touted around today? Wouldn't surprise me if this was his last season at Manchester City but it would definitely surprise me if he felt the urge to leave a third into the season.

I've not seen anything along those lines, so just did a Google. All I could find was a piece by Trevor sinclair suggesting Basil is ''on the cusp of leaving the premiership because of VAR.''   :lmao

https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1202864/Manchester-City-Pep-Guardiola-Liverpool-Premier-League-VAR-news

My god, you'd think they were the only club in the country who has felt hard done to by VAR.

It's more likely that Basil is simply pissed off because his side now can't get away with their usual shite now VAR has come in.

Can't see Bayern being interested, i can maybe see PSG interested in him, especially if they fail again in the CL.

Peps 4 year stint, wouldn't surprise me if he does decide to leave City after this season.

I don`t go on that site so decided to have a look at that Sterling thread. There`s no reasoned debate on there, just comes across as a load of kids with no moderation trying to play up to the crowd.

Every site, every fan base has dickheads but that place is 100% dickhead so what`s the point of posting it on here? I feel I`ve just lost multiple brain cells after scanning the thing for a couple of minutes.

Never known a team and a set of fans take a defeat so badly. Classless from top to bottom.

Weird thing is they don't take winning very well either. Makes you wander what the point is?

I think that’s a Manc trait in general. When United were winning titles, the Mancs I knew were into me within minutes. Just enjoy the moment, they were always thinking of us. Weird.

yeah watching Sky "break" the story yesterday morning was quite weird...
Reported the incident, showed his instagram post, Southgate's statement, footage from the match....

Then once that was out the way went on to show a few minutes of all the glorious goals and assists he's made this season  :o

wtf is that about

I've said in another thread i dont think he's a snake for the way he left, and he's done great to become the footballer he has but some of his comments in interviews last year with the disrespect shown towards us and starring in a team that is now standing in the way of our title I get why he is disliked so much by our fans.
And now this incident....he's always going to be a prick in many Liverpool fans eyes which is understandable.

But he won't care because he will have enough people making excuses for him in the media/across social media...we've already seen it in the last few days. Joe Gomez literally did nothing wrong I don't see how else this whole thing could be reported apart from shaming Sterling but hey

Leave them to get twist up about it. Our lads are laughing and have a title to win. They can all get to fuck

City have been built up so much in the last few years, the media love to build up and then knock down. Its their favourite passtime. Lets hope City start on the bad end of that now
