Wetherspoons and Manchester...bet that’s fun at the best of times.

Might have been there years back actually, Moon Under Water?

No, the one in Piccadilly.

She just said the City scum where that bad that day, she ended up wearing her coat inside out as she didn't feel safe. She feels dead safe when she goes out in Liverpool though and has never had any shit over being a Manc.

I dont get what it's meant to be celebrating?

Champions league qualification?

6 different kits?

Being self promoting pricks?

Their human rights record?

Not being able to fill a stadium they keep expanding?

All of the above?

Their PR department is cringe AF.

Although it's not as cringeworthy as that shocking Etihad video they released after winning the title last season.

Plastic cringe FC.

Foden is a weird case, he was the player of the tournament and apparently most talented in the squad of the England u17 team that won that tournament last year, yet all the other top talents have now moved themselves into first team football (Brewster unlucky to miss out this season). He however seems to get 10 minutes when they are 3-0 up and everyone says how brilliant he is.Now City seem to be looking at some other the other young forwards in Europe to bring in to that squad.

Is he a Carling Cup Wonderkid or is he actually going to be used sometime soon?

We already have shit in the country, and the game of Liverpool fills life with joy. Thanks

FFP and points deduction sadly applies to smaller clubs. The bigger clubs will probably only get a fine and allowed to continue as normal
Yep. Lowly Birmingham in the 2nd tier of English Football gets deducted 9 points for a measly "few million", but the likes of Chelsea and City (and Barca, Juve- if we're going offshore) get ignored. Clubs where stupid amounts of money are involved.

I see they mention that what made it worse was seeing that there were no effort towards curtailing spending... hello.. CITY!? Hello Chelsea!?
It appears that these two especially appear to have no concern or respect for FFP... but no- let's make an example of.... Birmingham!

I really don't want to say things like this, but things like this make it appear that FFP and the like were setup for the benefit of the bigger clubs and not the smaller ones.

All these changes and regulations and things remain the same. Look at VAR. Already controversial decisions where a ref overrides VAR and Utd go through! They just announced the new changes to the rules for next season.. no doubt to counteract the potential of VAR.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

He's a midfielder isnt he? But you are still correct, they are being linked with signing midfielders too!

He is only 18 though, will turn 19 at the end of the season. And he could end up playing 900 mins or so this season, I guess that is pretty good considering the team he is on?

Who knows long term, I guess the summer will be telling, if they end up spending a fortune on midfielders, that may be a sign he needs to get out of the same as Sancho. Of course, Foden did sign a new contract, and he is a local lad, so the choice may not be as easy as it was for Sancho, who had no ties to the club.

With Fernandinho and Silva being 33, and Gundogan not in any rush to commit his future to the club, good chance they will be after midfielders. But if he is as good as claimed, then we'll see how interested Guardiola is in using a youngster rather than a ready made player for that role.

Would add how spurs have done this last decade, could easily have had a decade like villa and Newcastle but through hard work, good management they’ve got themselves to a very good situation, and even though they’re owned by a very rich man in joe Lewis he hasn’t spunked loads of money at it, and if they did win a league title it’d be infinitely more satisfying than how city has done it

Was thinking about this the other day. If we weren't to do it, would I rather Spurs or City won the league? Now, every single part of me respects Spurs far more and after some of the comments I've seen from City fans about Liverpool, I honestly hope they rot. However, Spurs winning the league would actually be so impressive that I think it would be more galling. City's success means nothing, they'll fade away in a few years like Chelsea, but a trophy winning Spurs (especially with the new stadium) would be a frightening prospect. For the love of the game, I would of course choose Spurs but for self-preservation I'd have to choose City.
"If ever a club reflected what made football the biggest sport in the country, it was Liverpool with its ground set in the bosom of the labouring working class being led by a man-of-the-people idealist in Bill Shankly."

He basically there 4th option right now as one of the two CAM mostly it seems. He 18 turning 19. I highly doubt Pep or City want to rush him into a starter so early and ease him. Im guessing B silva and KBD will be first choice whenever D Silva moves then Foden moves to 3th choice and will start more. I think they intend to use him more but you really want make sure they do it at the first team level and not put too pressure where he fully relied on.

The way he handled that racist shit in Montenegro was spot on. By all accounts he's matured into a genuinely grounded person.

He's finally coming as good on the field as all of us who saw him as a teenager knew he would. So fair play to him.

The way he left us, with that BBC interview and all that, still pisses me off and he was a bit of a prick.

But I think he's been through the wringer and he seems OK. Good for him.
