disgusted by torres (his choice of club, his obviously untruthful pronouncements OF LOYALTY and, most of all, his selfish timing) but onwards and upwards for us. hope he gets what he wants with chelsea's pretend football club cos he just pissed a lot of people's love and respect up the wall. time to forget him and support the players who want to be here.

as bad as Owen?

They both left in similarly shitty circumstances, but owen went to scum. But, Owen arguably did more for the club when he was here, so I reckon a similar bell-end rating ye.

Torres and Drogba upfront then for Chelsea... well...
One thing does need to be said: in the post-Benitez era, there was media-led clamour (but also some politicking going on at the club) to make the club more English; the idea being that the club had lost the very essence of what it means to be ‘Liverpool’. Guillem Ballague 18/11/10

Players come and go.

As much as I refuse to worship them when they are here, making them immune for critisism as a lot do in here, as much I refuse to damn them when they are leaving.

Get over it, this is modern football.

No player is bigger than the club, I love LFC and not the players, most of them are greedy bastards, including your personal hero. Torres was a great forward for us, then he lacked motivation and now he´s gone. Not more, not less.

It´s more about the manager and his style of play anyway, that´s why I was so gutted to see Hodgson around here.

Nando bailed out.

Great player when he can be arsed but today demonstrates a character flaw imho.

We don't know what's gone on behind closed doors, guess we might never know until the next round of autobiographies come out from certain senior players.

No room for sentiment or crying...it's a huge loss but it also heralds a major change in playing style in the final third....it's going to be very interesting this next few months
We where spoiled under Benitez.....too many fans had grown fat feasting on his rich offerings...convincingly beating the likes of Real Madrid, Inter and AC Milan,  Juventus and Barcelona....we started to expect these kinds of victories as standard... and like spoilt brats, when things started to go wrong, we threw our toys out the pram.

Hopefully this time it will be Torres who comes out with these feelings in the future.

yeah time to man up now lads, he's a rent boy, on the same level as 'Lamps' and Terry.

We saw a Liverpool board supporting our King aggressively today - reasons to be excited and electrified for what may lie ahead.
