He is every bit as good as Torres, thats my opinion. Which has been ridiculed and brushed off.
But seriously. His technique is top notch, his awareness and movement is as good as any, and he is much much better team player than Torres is.

We are getting a real deal here. An absolute steal.

Just watched the 50 best goals youtube compilation. Gotta say if he can produce like that for us - we got one hell of a player. One thing I did think while watching it is that he reminds me of Fowler in his pomp with some of those goals, but his positioning and movement is a little like ronaldo (the greasy one). A mix between those two players would be one hell of a steal. More flair than tevez tho. CLASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't wait to see him on the pitch in our shirt, chassing balls down and generally busting a gut for the team.

When Carroll's fit again it may take them a little while to develop an understanding but then maybe that's a plus of getting them in January, it gives them the rest of this season and then pre-season to develop the partnership and hit the ground running next season, a genuine winger in the summer and we have great potential.

Loving the pics of him so far, looks like a kid on christmas morning, got visions of him whizzing round Melwood like a tazmanian devil, only stopping occasionally to hug random people and say "Hi i'm Luis" before whizzing off again.
