How can you state that he's the best driver out of the lot of them? For me I can't choose between Alonso, Vettel and Hamilton

Preferbly like a professional acknowleding the fact that when shit happens you take it on the chin and not play the race card.

I don't pay much attention to F1, but it seems like Hamilton is always, always bemoaning his luck/team strategy/factors out of his control. Is that fair, or is it because his interviews are given so much more exposure by the press than the other drivers?

Well ive lost count how many times the McLaren team have messed up his stratagies and pitstops over the past few seasons.

McLaren and Ferrari drivers do suffer more than Red Bull on shit calls, pit stop fuck ups etc. Ironically it would have been the other way around today for the drivers at the front at least, but safety cars etc favoured Red Bull.

Bullshit, Hamilton has already proven he a better driver then Alonso when in the same car, as for Vettel he's a good driver in the best car on the grid, Hamilton would own him if they were in the same team.  I would love to have seen Vettel do anywere near aswell as Hamilton has done in the past couple of season with the crappy cars Mclaren have given him.

He wasnt settled because he was being beat by a 1st year rookie.  He was paranoid that year, and made himself look a tit with some of the things he did.  Hamilton "s**ts on him" any day of the week

He is bitter but any overtaking move made during this race would have been penalised in the same way had the second driver not co-operated. Either we allow them to do some slightly risky moves of we dont have any overtaking at Monaco in which case it should be cancelled.

Well im not a world famous f1 driver so I dont have millions of people listening to me but if I did I wouldnt change.  He speaks his mind and fair play to him for doing it instead of bottling it all up.  Although he will no doubt be punished for it.

All racing drivers are arrogant, it's the nature of the beast. I think Hamilton's fantastic though, adds a great deal to the sport as a spectacle. People have been running him down on here since his first race, saying he's not in the league of Alonso et al, which is plainly bollocks. Alonso has had his share of absolute stinking races, and while Vettel may have a calmer head, I think Hamilton is the quicker driver.

What??? Its true, the likelyhood was the they were just going to follow each other for the rest of the race, the only way that might have changed would have been if Vettels tyres had gone off completely and then Alonso and Button would still have struggled to get passed him still,  its a boring race every year and without any crashes/mistakes its hard to overtake on.  Unlike Canada in 2 weeks time which will be brilliant to watch.

Got to say, weather you like him or not, Hamilton is an entertaining driver.

Think the interview wasnt as bad as some are making out, hes clearly frustrated because they were more racing incidents than they were him being dangerous. Think the "maybe its cus im black" quote was something he might regret when he sees it back, but he meant nothing serious by it. Just a jokey remark that probably didnt come off well.

Hes a racing driver, he races to win, not to come 2nd, 6th or 10th, he is agressive by nature and will dive into the smallest of gaps to get past his man.

Yes, he can be a bit of a dick, but hes a kitten compared to Senna was.

I gave it my all today and the team did a great job to get the car back out and to get it fixed for the last few laps, and umm, I really have to apologise to the fans for, what I think is a bit of a shambles of, err, an experience that I, they saw probably with me but er, I'll try my best to bounce back for the next race."

LMc: "Sorry I'm going to have go to another negative; what happened in the pit stop?  You came in and the team didn't seem ready at one point."

LH: *smiles* "They said 'box to overtake' and they weren't there.  Simple as that."

LMc: "All in all a day to forget?"

LH: *half-laugh* "The whole weekend I'd say!  But we have these weekends and, uh, I think it's character-testing, it's umm... or at least that's what people say, whether it's right or wrong, you've just got to suck it in, I'm going to go and chill and enjoy the rest of the weather and do some jet-skiing and try not to get myself in any more trouble."

Whilst I agree with Beav's comments about Hamilton being entertaining, I do think he can be a moaning little bitch sometimes. They all have their arrogant streak but he should be more professional and gracious in defeat sometimes.

See, I would argue that whilst mclaren have messed up things for him before, similar things have happened to various other drivers but we percieve it to happen more with Mclaren because Hamilton is always bleating about it. A better attitude is to win as a team and lose as a team.
