Seems you may be in luck (though likely there'll be one very soon) - the promo video for S7xE03 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUiUml8wzQ8

Fair enough, I just don't think it warrants a standalone episode, hopefully it's all mixed in with another episode.

I like the change of pace episodes such as this.....

I guess mostly when it is about characters that interest me....Carol and Morgan do.

Best line of the show when she just says to Ezekiel "Why do you care?!".....delivery was great. Think they might get it on

I'm not really what you'd term a huge fan of TWD but there's no doubt whatsoever it's the finest thing there's ever been on the telly. It kicks seven kinds of shite out of Game of Thrones ....and bear in mind I say that as a massive Game Of Thrones fan.

When TWD creates a character that's even fit to tie the shoelaces of Tony Soprano we'll talk about it amongst the best ;)

I think you'll find Tony wore slip-ons. And if he didn't then who gives a fuck - he should have done. Besides, if the cap fits. Or even the shoe.

At it's best, it is really good but it can go through bad patches that drag.

Enjoyed episode 2

Spoiler
Was nice to see something different and I do like thatthe show does this sort of thing. Episode developed characters, Carol and Morgan make a good pair, the King was fun. It was clear very early that there was more to him then the show he put on, his kingdom is clearly well run and they have plans, like the pigs. Didn't make her revealing his hand to Carol any loss awesome

Still don't quite understand how folks see it in terms of episodes and their respective 'quality'.

Always a collective for me and can only really be judged as an entity in my view. Clearly, though, most don't seem to agree. Which is fairy snuff.

Still a bit worrying when so many get it so completely fucking wrong though.

So Negan's guys don't really seem so loyal to him as they are scarred of him. It'd be interesting to know how many of his men he actually started out with compared to how many he has recruited in similar ways to Dwight. Kind of seems with what we know so far that if say, Rick for example, was to kill Negan that they wouldn't necessarily face the full backlash of the saviours, just some of them.

I'd say guys like Dwight are the exception. The others are likely just assholes who are living on 'easy street'  ;D and would have no reason to rebel

a big yawn of an episode, that.

negan is really boring without the cursin', daryl has always been boring, and TWD seems particularly good at choosing terrible music. dwight looks like rick after a year on heroin. and once he'd successfully made that sandwich all the tension was gone...

TWD seems particularly good at choosing terrible music

Can't let that go unchallenged S.

In fact the complete opposite is the case. Some of the musical selections have been sensational and fit like a glove with the visual.

Town Like Called Malice is superb and never more so than against the backdrop of a huge cheese sarnie.

The other one was clearly intended as a joke unlike the cheese sarnie song.   ;D

Off the top of my head in previous shows

Last Pale Light in the West - Ben Nichols

Oats in the Water - Ben Howard

Blackbird Song - Lee Dwyze

The Parting Glass - The Clancy Brothers

Hold On - Tom Waits

Morning Dew - Bonnie Dobson

I've got you Under my skin- Sinatra

Spicks and Specks - Bee Gees

And possibly best of the lot a snatch of Wolfie and Sugar Beet - Etude No 3 in E Major opus 10 and Piano Sonata No 8 Pathetique

 :)

Wish they'd stop doing these one character POV episodes. There's too much going on to spend an entire episode just watching Daryl sit in a dark cell.

That's not to say these kinds of episodes can't be good it just doesn't make sense to go several weeks without checking in on what's going on elsewhere.

don't see why Ezekial's people wouldn't have had a go at Negans after watching that.

Good episode last night with an insight into the sanctuary and the relationship of Dwight, Sherry (his Mrs) and Negan. Especially with the pregnancy test being on show when Dwight went in the Drs room, which shows Negan is having a good go of sherry - and Dwight turned down the chance of having a night with Sherry.
Negan is  BEAST of a character.

Negan has something over everyone except Daryl - which is why he is keeping him close and taking a shine to him i.e. not killing him.

Im surprised nobody else noticed that The Kingdom and Ezekiel fed the pigs Walkers - which may be slowly poisoning Negans crew.

Next week in back to Alexandria and Ricks crew.

Spoiler
I don't think all of his men are following him out of fear, he was the leader of a biker gang before the outbreak right? I'm sure that was mentioned last season. It seems he has his own original crew, then people who've happily joined his ranks (half of the people Rick and co have met in past seasons were nefarious bastards, no doubt they'd happily join his operation) and then there are the people like Dwight who are there because they can't get away. Then beneath all of those people you have the individual communities he's taking supplies from, none of them have any clue how many men he commands or how many are loyal, they only know that they can't cross him.

He's a pretty smart bastard really, no one outside of his own group really knows what sort of force he commands or how many of those are loyal. The guys like Dwight must have some idea of numbers, but even then Negan has multiple bases so it still won't be totally clear even to him.

Spoiler
I don't think Dwight was offered Sherry, she's Negan's wife after all, it seems they have a brothel somewhere and he was offered a free pass there but refused (presumably he still considers himself married).

Yeah they made it pretty clear that the pigs were fed with walkers, I'm not sure if that would poison Negan and co though or whether it just saves them from having to use as much food for their deal.

Hmmm...interesting points. I guess more will be revealed

Spoiler
I missed that point last season where he had a biker gang....(most of which I assume got blown up?)

I guess you could be right, he hides a lot of what he does from most people except a select few. Will be interesting to see how this develops and how big his network actually is
