came across this very tasty shadowbox dub from 1991 on matt style's homage to the zanzibar club in new jersey 1993. tony humphreys was the resident and that would lead most right thinking individuals to expect a whole lot of wailing divas (not my cup of tea) but matt has typically picked out a thread of sumptuous deep house always underpinned by driving beats. its so good i'm now reminded why the whole deep house revival could actually be a very good idea.

you can find the full zanzibar mix here
http://promomixes.com/as you can see from the link there are a range of classic clubs on there - i can recommend the tresor mix for those that like it tough as well as the prestige selection of really moody belgian new beat but unfortunately i find the pure; sativa and house of god mixes well off piste for my refined tastes - but definitely start with the zanzibar selection if you like the general tone of this thread.
