wasn't easy for sure, but they had lost 3 straight at home, which likely won't help Arsenal's fans moods today

Must admit it was about the most 'Arsenal' result for a while. Playing away from home to a side in shaky form whilst ostensibly in strong form ourselves. Late kickoff on a cold October evening ... I've had too many years as an Arsenal fan to expect anything but a banana skin.

Side definitely still playing terribly as they have been most of the season when not playing against Europa league minnows, but there is room for improvement and as fans need to hope something useful can happen against Chelsea and Spurs.

Emery has made some stupid big decisions at that club, making him captain and freezing Ozil out for personal reasons being 2 of the stupidest.

I like Xhaka more for that. Fair enough he's a very limited player and has his faults, but he will always give 100% so its completely unfair for his own fan base to be giving him shit every week. Looks like he had finally just had enough. It's just a dick ish thing to do to boo your own player and it's not like we're dealing with a Diouf here.. Hell even Ozil doesn't get abuse and when he plays he trots around like he's playing a legends match.

He doesn't pick himself and he didn't make himself captain.

He's picked like 4 captains that I can remember-- Koscielny (made a fuss and left) Xhaka (booed by their own supporters) Ozil (won't be picked anyway) Cech (retired)
