If a professional gets beaten by an amateur then they are not as good as they think they are and probably deserve to be paid less.
If I managed to pick up £4m just playing snooker (yes, I know they have to practice but let's face it, it's hardly work and does not require any athletic fitness*) I'd keep my mouth shut and be thankful. It's not like many people even watch it except for the big events.
* Bill Werbeniuk was noted for the copious amounts of alcohol he consumed before and during matches – at least six pints before a match and then one pint for each frame. In total, he drank between 40 and 50 pints of lager per day.
And yes, I know he had a hand tremor.
