Looks like Kyren stole it from those stats, lots of important ones in Ding's favour!

Apart from maybe the obvious "Wilson potted the important balls at the important moments" any other reasons?

Wilson won more frames.

In all seriousness it looks like ding must have lost close frames. The full match score would tell you that if it's around anywhere.

I was on the Selby side of the divide today. That 6th and especially 7th frame the usual 'ooohs' at a missed pot were replaced with anguished sighs.

On the BBC coverage I once misheard the nickname of Mark Williams as 'The Welsh Body Machine', then later realised it was actually 'The Welsh Potting Machine'. Although it seemed like a bizarre and unfitting nickname, it still felt more fitting than 'The Jester From Leicester' for Mark Selby.

Trying hard to enjoy Selby v Yan Bingtao. But Selby is such a boring twat it’s very difficult to enjoy any of his torturous play.
