Can't say I blame her if what I've read about his failure to pay child support is true

Him getting her kicked off TV as he was practising was a very special c*nts trick.

From what I read, he wanted 15 minutes practice and she was in the studio watching him. Couldn’t be a pleasant situation for him when he’s trying to clear his head.

What did the game finish? Can’t find it online.

Also read  it’s a case of Evans wants him to increase child support payments and he’s resisting. Must be horrid living your life in the open.

How the hell has Evans lost that frame. Can't see her winning now.

Because ignoring anything else he's better at the game of snooker than she is.

Yep. Think she’s dealt with the occasion better than Allen. The crowd being clearly on her side (one bellend shouting all the time was irritating - it’s not football). Plus the handshake refusal… overall he’s coping quite well.

Glad I put it on, but was after an early night.

Yeah and those rags were claiming it’s all about £100 per month, which sounds ludicrous. If it’s true, he’s out of order but I wouldn’t believe tabloids filling in the gaps.

It sounds ludicrous, but not out of the ordinary. There are numerous sports 'stars' that hide or divert their income to avoid paying child maintenance.
Not saying Allen is one of them as I've no idea whether he does or doesn't, but I wouldn't believe it just because some red top rag claimed he only pays £100 a month. Given he has 2 kids, if you assume he's paying the same for both, it would put his gross taxable income at 15k. Which quite clearly isn't his true income.

I'd hazard a guess that his bankruptcy has more to do with it than any deliberate attempt to get out of paying his fair share.

It's a shame his private life has halted his progress on the table though.

Ah right, I wasn’t aware of his bankruptcy. That’s a further complication.

We haven’t a clue what’s going on in their private lives, I just wouldn’t trust the rags stirring the pot.

He was getting grief for not wanting her in the practice room, and I think I was one of them, but hearing what’s going on, that’s understandable really during the biggest competition (and potential pay day) of the season.

Hopefully it all gets sorted and he can back to form on the table.

None of us know the personal situation but imagine being the 14 year old daughter stuck in the middle of this

In front of his home crowd too. Bet that was some atmosphere in the final frame. I was falling asleep, dog tired, so went to bed at 8-7 to Higgins, couldn’t see Allen winning it from there.

Of there was ever any doubt that Shaun Murphy was anything other than a humongous c*nt...

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/snooker/59392405

Quote
Shaun Murphy said "amateurs should not be allowed in professional tournaments" after suffering a shock first-round exit from the UK Championship, losing 6-5 to China's Si Jiahui in York.

Murphy, who was the UK champion in 2008, forced a deciding frame after falling 5-1 behind, but 19-year-old amateur Si kept his cool to win.

"I am going to sound like a grumpy old man but that young man shouldn't be in the tournament," said Murphy.

"It is not fair, it is not right."

Si fell off the main tour at the end of last season and entered the 128-man tournament in York as an amateur top-up in the field.

He looked as if he had blown his chance, having surged in front only to miss the final blue in the seventh frame.

Murphy, beaten in the World Championship final by Mark Selby earlier this year, hit back by winning four frames in a row - but a missed blue of his own from the penultimate red cost him the match, which finished close to midnight.

An angry Murphy vented his fury afterwards by telling BBC Radio 5 Live: "I feel extremely hard done by that I have lost to someone who shouldn't even be in the building.

"I don't know why we as a sport allow amateurs to compete in professional tournaments. This is our livelihood. This is our living. We are self-employed individuals and not contracted sportsmen. We don't play for a team.

"The other 127 runners and riders in the tournament, it is their livelihood too. It is wrong, in my opinion, to walk into somebody who is not playing with the same pressures and concerns I am.

"He played like a man who does not have a care in the world, because he does not have a care in the world. It is not fair, it is not right.

"I am not picking on him as a young man, he deserved his victory. Amateurs should not be allowed in professional tournaments, the end.

"This is our livelihood. This is how I put food on the table. This is how I earn money. Since turning professional at 15, I have earned the right to call myself a professional snooker player. He hasn't done that. He shouldn't be on the table."
