Lots of hypocrisy in this thread. Wasn't Oh Campione nabbed off the PSV fans?

Who nabbed it off the PAOK fans. It's unavoidable really, unless we have some budding songwriters amongst us. Judging by this thread, we don't.

Same tune to my other Rafa Benitez song, sung in a few away pubs last year. Fact:

Rafa Benitez, Rafa Benitez,
Luis , Xavi, Gonzalez.

Started slow, then faster with everyone bouncing around, Arsenal away especially.

Why do some people take the internet so seriously?

Beauts

I know. Jester-hat wearing freaks.

Now what's with starting a new thread when I already had one, and making it official? Mine not good enoug for you? :no
Balotelli, Falcao, Cavani...

I'll be shocked if it's anyone other Etoo. Etoo or no-one. Simples.

La Cucaracha for Torres? No please!!! Here in Spain always have sounded "ridiculous".

Here in Spain was a simple song: "Fer.nan.do Tooorres lololloo, Fer.nan.do Toooorres lolololo" with this rthm:

http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=IirlBqFzgDk

It says: "Suddenly start to hear the claps from the stand... and one song.. Fer-nan-do Tooorres lolololo, FernandoToooorres lolololo..."

just got back from the game and this song was getting sung and it was very good. an its lalalala not lololol

**This is the people singing him after he missed a penalty. He always said that this was the best moment (most emotive) of his carrer.

posted this on the other thread - probably needs english/better words but the tune's magic - any songwriters in the house? :)

To the tune of the Sevilla song "Vamos Mi Sevilla".
Here's the song if you don't know it (22 seconds in): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66h_HrjmBzk&mode=related&search=

 Conquistador
 Goleador
 Fernando Torres
 Este es amor.

 It means (I think):
 Conqueror
 Goalscorer (extraordinaire)
 Fernando Torres
 This is love.

 So...

 Coooon-kees-tadoooor
 Gooooo-leea-dooooor
 Feeeer-nan-do Torr-es
 Es-te es amooooor...

(repeat repeat repeat for 20 minutes). :)

p.s. la cucaracha means the cockroach dunnit?

As long as it isn't nicked off another English side then that's sound. Wouldn't say it sounds shit at all.

Discussed on the internet just as they were in the boozers, hardly internet based entirely are they?

Meoww

Yeah sorry forgot you are only a true fan if you have a youtube video of your song and sound like utter muppets because you are signing with no passion and each one of you has different words.

My bad.

Ok. It was only an "advice" in order you can know what people sang him here. Maybe you could have some ideas about that song...
La Cucaracha is not a "well rated" song here bacause it´s a "comical" song from years and years ago and it´s used in parties of old people. I said that because Torres is from Spain and maybe he doesn´t like it. But yes,  I don´t go to Anfield so this isn´t with me and if people like it and Torres like it, perfect. It was only an opinion, no more...
It's 'gay' and that's t5he rewason it will castch on.

Thank fuck for that this is the song we should go for sounds way better than the shit offical one

Someone said that the offical song is considered dumb/a joke/cringeworthy in spain, for this reason alone the La Cucaracha song should not be considered...also La Cucaracha means the Coackroach in spanish...this not the song for our new signing

The Atletico song is the one we need...so what if the Arsenal fans sing it for Ljunberg...not EVERY song has to be original...the most important thing is GOOD songs...some songs are unique to us, some are not, whats important is good songs and the atmosphere generated...I know which song I'll be singing

It is: "Fer.nan.do TOOOOrres LOLOLOLO, FernandoToooores lololo, fernandotoorres lololo..." and restart. Something like that (not exactly of course, I am not good translating the tune to letters).

I know that it is so because we sang it many times :P

But this was only a suggestion in order that you have ideas about a song... finally, people are going to sing that song that someone start singing and the others like to sing too.

Cheers.

Agree on all 3 point made.

But we did have 2 boss songs for Berger!

Owen never got the St.John / Dalglish / Fowler chant until the end of his time with the club, when he'd earnt it. I don't think it can be thrown out to a new signing after all that's gone before. It has to be earnt.

I can do a Vorinin song; here goes

to the tune of "Sunny afternoon"

We signed him on a Bosman free,
He came here from Germany,
He's our player Andriy Voronin

He plays his football for Ukraine
He makes Shevchenko look quite plain,
He's our player Andriy Voronin

(Thanks for listening, I'll be here all week)

All these songs are far too tricky. We have fans who clap halfway through YNWA,thinking its finished. The reason TFAR is so popular is because its simple, and takes no effort to learn.Hence the demise of 2 great songs such as Poor Scouser Tommy and A Liverbird Upon My Chest, and the rise of shite such as Easssy and who are ya.
