so impressed with him, trying not to get carried away  but he was fantastic , on his debut vs man united . Thats not easy to do , if rafa handles him properly he could be a .... not gonna say it actually. just keep it up lad, well done.

- Beats players,

- Ball retention is excellent

- Nice bits of trickery

This kid is exactly what we need. Those who doubted the boy, give yourselves an uppercut!

still lacks a bit of pace for my liking, but who give a shit, he's strong, links up well and the ball sticks to him. He will tear lesser teams apart if he carries on like this and rafa lets him have some sort of freedom.

Looked very good today. Just what we need ; someone who can unlock defenses with a little bit of trickery.
I think he will very useful against teams who will play with the intention of getting a draw.

I don't think anyone has mentioned the excellent position he took up for the Brown O.G.

He put pressure on Brown and that is where your left winger/AM should be when you have possession of the ball that far up the pitch.

P.S any idea about the words he had with Gerrard before he came off?

I think CERN experiment worked....this is surely the parallel world...its sunny today, hot, the pub had a discount on ciders, we have a winger who rang rings round Manchester's right side, we won against united.....man im buying the lottery tonight!

Fantastic debut. Will do his confidence a world of good having put in a good performance like that against the toughest team in the league. Now that he knows he can do it agaisnt them, god nows what he'll do to lesser teams

Loved his link up with Aurelio too, its what happens when you pair two real footballers together with intellegence and vision

Provides some decent flair which is something we haven't have from a winger in a while. He can beat players which was something I worried about with his reported lack of pace (which to be fair he doesn't have), but he seems to be able just to walk past players- should help with breaking down the teams that stick everyone behind the ball like Stoke will do next weekend.

Very, very good debut, Riera lad. Loved that cheeky backheel - :lmao
Aaah- when was the last time? Provided for some moments of excitement and joy again and I thought he linked up well with Aurelio. Quick, not greased lightning, but more than makes up for that with his little tricks and that gainst Brown/Vidic/Ferdinand. More than enough prove for me that he can cut it here. There's no early days for me, I'm sold. If it had been the likes of Everton/Fulham/Westham, I'd say -"Early days, so..."

WE'VE FINALLY GOT A WINGER! AND HE AIN@T EVEN FULLY SETTLED! MARVELOUS.

Guy's, he was good today, what better match to be better in, but let's not get carried away!

I didn't rate the guy before he was signed but he has, however, swayed my opinion a bit, nonetheless, only one game ( and, as I say, what a game ), let's see how he settles, is all.

Red, I think he advised him to ditch her not cause she's a satanist, but she seemed blown away by another guy. Can't even imagine my gal getting awed/wet by another guy- supposedly a hunk- in my presence. She'd have to get her coat..
