First game was against Southampton the year we came up from Div. 2.
Does anyone else remember being able to change ends at half-time?
I may be losing it, but I'm sure there were some grounds where they'd let fans swap ends at half-time, so you were always in the end Liverpool were playing towards.
I remember the changing ends when in the second division.
Even in the first division we changed ends and remember being in both ends of Old Trafford on the same day.
Magical moments
second div shampionship Southampton home that was mad
Cologne and the snow and the footy match on the pitch and snowballs at BBC
Ajax and the mysterious fire in the kop (Piss steam) and sitting on the side of the kemlyn road 2 inches from the pitch after being dragged out from the kop with thousands of others.
Blackburn beginning of the first season back singing I wanna hold your hand in a guards van on the train with I swear 1000 others. Trains ran from Exchange an no one seemed to drive.
INTER MILAN HOME
INTER MILAN AWAY (My folks went and were distraught)
Spurs 2-7 and then 5-2 over the Easter weekend when we used to play Good Friday Saturday and Bank Holiday Monday
Spurs when some spivs in suits grabbed the ball off a couple of kids who were having a kick around in the goalmouth at 1 o clock. The kids grabbed the ball back and dived back into the Scouse lads. Stupid div chased him in there and was kicked shite out of. Had to be rescued by the police but no arrests.
Ah the good ol days and if the nurse would help I'd remember a lot more
funnily enough don't ever remember away supporters coming down to the kop
