We've all had to endure some utterly appalling music over youtube videos but this is undoubtedly the worst. If you like this music I will fight you forever. Hope it's a good sign. Reckon Milner is laughing his arse off. The shame here tho...

Is he having two weeks off or starting training with the rest of the squad this weekend?
He's in Mo's instagram this morning getting what looks like a flight from Greece together to meet up with the training camp.
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

Still haven't seen a definite on this, so how in the name of Fowler do you pronounce his surname?

is it sim-eek-as?

I'd go with this:

Like fuck it is haha.

Τσιμίκας = Tsimikas

τσ [ts] Pronounced like chain or touch, but with less sharp accent.

Chimikas
"I said to the boys before the game it would be impossible. But because it’s you, I say we have a chance."
Jürgen Klopp, 7 May 2019

"I told them if we score it will be different. We scored. It was different."

Anyone watched the Inside Training video from Austria?

He looks, in the few moments you see him, somewhat nervous and apprehensive. I'm not highlighting that as anything unusual, after all it's his first day in a brand new environment with people he's never met. I just thought it was quite a nice little reminder that as much as fans often treat them otherwise, these players are just like us. The same little anxieties over new experiences and whatnot.

I'm probably reading far too much into it, but I thought it was nice to see.

A good watch that. A few things struck me: Bobby looks sharp, Jurgen could do with losing a few pounds around the waist and Divok needs to raise the seat on his bike.

He obviously does a good amount of exercise - he and Pep are always talking about playing paddle tennis on a regular basis, which is very intense, plus he runs.  That little German beer gut of his is there to stay  ;D

Having watched him play since his early days I was quite surprised by this transfer. A move to a top-5 Italian club would have made more sense.

He is a liability defensively and tends to disappear when the match isn't going in his side's favour. He was also outmuscled regularly in the Greek league so I can't imagine what's going to happen in the Premier League if he doesn't hit the weight-room ASAP.

On the bright side he possesses technique, has a high football IQ and is hard-working so hopefully he can improve in the aforementioned areas enough to be a decent back-up option.
