he is getting a lot of time to get to know thiago.

his time here have been a bit start stop. covid and a few niggling injuries. hope he stays fit soon. plenty of games where he may be needed in the busy season ahead.

luckily we have robbo powered by irn bru and milnerinho who is hardly ever injured.

Dunno, not seen the replay of that ;)

Although I've not seen anything from any of the journos close to the club like we usually do with serious injuries so I'm holding onto that for hope

So did Virgil.

I'm not saying Tsimikas has an ACL but some injuries can allow you to walk off the pitch and still be significant.
I think Jookie might just be the best fisherman on this thread.

Annoying, he's actually looked pretty solid so far. Disappointing injury, hope it's not a major one.

I hope so, we want bodies that can contribute.
While we've been relatively fortunate with injuries over recent years, they've often appeared to be almost laser guided towards the most vulnerable positions in the squad.

Tsimikas injured himself overextending his knee whilst making a tackle himself, absolutely nothing to do with anything Midtjyland did

Yeah, for the knee I was more thinking of Diogo tbf, but the Kostas thread was visible and he did take a few knocks in the game. Even though a knock wasn't directly the cause of the injury I think the ref could've done more to protect the players, Kostas included.

He was estimated to be back same time as Jota, so likely nothing before February. Assuming it’s all going well.

Would imagine later than Jota as his return was brought forward slightly. Tactical times found 4 occasions Kostas played CB

He's posted a couple of social media pics from Kirkby so hopefully that means he's progressing well. No shark pics for a while anyway.

to be honest if they think some weird fuck created the entire universe in 6 days then I doubt they give a second thought to them being able to sort someone’s knee whilst giving cancer to some poor fuck.

They dropped the ball with the pandemic though.

Indeed. It seems to give a lot of our team some kind of solace that it's 'part of the process', but I'm with you.

I can't speak for Jota, but 3 (VVD Gomez & Kostas) of the other 4 long-ish term injuries we have at the moment have all been attributed to God.

Seems a right bastard to me.

Worth a go at CB if we don’t sign anyone else? At least would offer us pace and he’s a higher level footballer than Williams or Phillips are. Obviously not as good in the air but better on the ball, quicker, and is an actual premier league level footballer and obviously is used to actually playing as a defender.
