Our home league games have been awful against the lesser teams yes but the atmosphere in the fa cup games has been surprisingly decent(compared to our league games and goodison today)

Anybody see those mini ads on ESPN where the get a supporter of each team to explain why the FA cup is so special to them and they tell their favourite memory about the cup etc etc.They usually last about 30 seconds and are filmed in said fans stadium .

Well today they had the everton fan on.A forty six year old man who was sayin how he was born to support the blues because he was born the year everton won the cup(1966).

I was waiting for him to mention LFC.Well lets face it,they always so don't they?As he walked past the dixie dean statue he explained how great he was and his achievements which was fair enough in my book considering how great dixie was,then he came out with it as he stared right into the camera ..

Then in true blueshite form,he went on to say how Everton were the unluckiest team in football.He started with the clive thomas thing from 1977.Then said how Everton were the best side in europe when we got the ban and IFITHADNTBINFOR.....
He said they across the park call us the bitters but they had every right to be because IFITHADNTBINFOR.......

Christ it was cringeworthy.All he was short was the violin playing in the background.

I reckon he had a whip around at woodison to pay for the TV time to air his grievances.

I said to my lad at one point it in the first half it was a bit of a typical 'english' game. Fast & furious at times with no real technique involved or style of play evident.

Then I got a text from a bluenose mate saying "I think we're playing alright here".

Cup games have been decent, as you'd know if you'd been. Not going to lie and say league games have been loud but you've got to make the effort rather than being a moaning c*nt on here, frankly.
