These Dogg Pound lyrics from back in the day come to mind right now:

New York New York big city of dreams
And everything in New York ain't always what it seems
You might get fooled if you come from out of town
But I'm down by law, and I'm from the Dogg Pound

Are the Giants up for it today?  ;D

When did he ever have a brilliant game? ????

Can't even remember him from his College days to be honest.

3 picks, and he's fucked it up.

I've said it since he got into the league, people need to get off Eli Mannings dick, because he's garbage, throws an ugly ball too...

So happy that they lost today, can't stand them...

Maybe this will shut up some Giant fans for a while now...

looking very likely right now. Kitna doing fairly well moving the ball.
Like the bengals probably the most exciting team left in it. Would like to see them versus Indy again ;D

he's in an MRI right now, said at the start of the 3rd Qtr they'd know the result, but it doesnt look good, he strained knee ligaments in the same knee last year and wound up missing quite a few games...

;D I only put a couple of quid on anyway - new to this internet betting thing so I'm only going with a couple of quid a time while I get to know my way round it.

I do like the thing with the refs having the microphone and telling everyone what's happening though - would love to see Mike Riley with one at Anfield for us against the Mancs - "penalty given, because it's van Nistelrooy and Carragher was clearly within 14 miles of him"

thats really tough, usually playoff games are bets for the unders as the defenses come to play and the weather isn't usually condusive to offensive ball games...

Steelers, despite the game thus far, have one of the best defenses in the league...but right now, already have 30 points...the under is scary, besides, if you're a neutral, how can you root for an under?! ;) ;D

I haven't watched it for ages but I used to quite like it when it was on C4, used to like the Raiders. This was back in the early 80's though when they had Marcus Allen etc.
Even had a go at playing it once, but wearing all the armour was a bit silly.
Tried to watch it again recently on Sky but I think their feed was from Fox and half the screen was covered in infobars and stuff, really hard to watch it.

I did, he had a lot of space when he got the ball - I assume that to be a good thing.

Two more points and my 46.5+ points bet comes in and it looks like the Steelers might win for my other bet for the night   8)

i dont think it was a cheap shot, and trust me, I'm no Steeler fan... I think it was Von Oelhoffen, and he looked as if he was blocked into him...really unfortunate...Palmer wound up tearing his ACL and MCL

on the other hand...

Hope Palmer makes it back next season but that wasn't a cheap shot IMO. That's one of the risk factors in giving a guy a 6 year contract for $119 million though.

On another matter I don't like betting on over/unders but betting "the over" always seems more appealing and you're often in with a shout. The over/under number for the Rose Bowl the other day was a staggering 71. At the end of the first quarter the game was 7 nil. Guess what? .   .   .   final score 41-38!

Nice...I missed in the FA Cup on one leg to get $1400 back. Another bet I bet against the Patriots in the off season....won't be making that mistake again in a hurry.

Read this article in an Aussie newspaper yesterday about how this betting company had lost around 2 million $ in profit last year  because of the betting on the NFL. Too many favourites were getting up; wish I had taken the hint with the Pats.

Would you bet on the Pats beating the Broncos at high altitude in Denver though?  I admit it is a tough one to call.  Let us wait and see.

The Broncs have relatively small offensive and defensive lines.....because its hard lugging around a lot of weight in thin air - and their play style is built around as such. If they can hold the Pats for the first half, then they'll be in with a big shot at it. Problem is the Pats are masters at working out a playing style to hammer teams at their weakest points, and size is certainly a weak point in the NFL.
