Ok - just been down to speak to the Landlady and she's really up for it.

Festivities start at 7:30pm on Saturday 9th July. Food will be home-based (eg Pie & Chips) but free. She's got a few others to invite as well so should be a cracking atmosphere!

More details as and when but if somebody's coming down from Liverpool can they IM me - we're looking for a European Champions Flag to go up behind the bar alongside the 2001 Treble one...

it is the 9th. I'm just going on a reccy there tomorrow after my course, seen as it's just down the road a bit from where I usually stop off for a vodka and a fag after my courses every Saturday!! Seems like there'll be others there. Don't think I'll be there in the evening though. I'll be there for about 5pm then I'll head back to chez bachi a bit after to recharge my batteries.

Went to check out the pub on Saturday and met up with Anthony down there. Seems like a nice spot just by the canal and a nice polite lad behind the bar too. Should be a good night!
