did you make it

Yes she made it. I picked her up from Watford Met station about 1 o'clock Tuesday. Really made me and my mates laugh, said hello all introduced each other. Then the next thing she asked was, "Who wants a beer?", then pulled out 2 cans of Grolsch and a can of Guinness.

Within an hour of driving to the game. Emily, (Dollface), had drunk her 3 cans herself, :hally then pulled out of her bag a big fruit squash bottle. This was half full of vodka, mixed with passionfruit and ginger beer?? Nice mix. Emily passed this around for everyone to try, then drunk about a 1/3 of the bottle herself  :hally before falling asleep for the remainder of the journey. Very funny!!

To be honest she is welcome to travel when ever she wants great entertainment!!  ;D

Get a bus, it's pretty cheap. It's probably what I'll end up doing for the Newcastle game.

Travel to Bolton from London
« Reply #501 on: February 28, 2008, 09:36:49 pm »
Is someone going to Bolton from London by car this sunday? Or does anyone know about a supporter bus with a spare seat?

A friend of mine from norway is staying in london for the weekend, he's going to the match but doesn't know how to get there. The only alternative he found is a bus that uses half the day to get there..

I've never travelled from london so was hoping to get some good advices here to help him out  :)

Train to Manchester Piccadilly takes just over 2 hours... Manc - Horwich Parkway is about 20 minutes. Easy :)

Don't fancy your chances with that, there's a thread stickied in Tickets and Travel about lifts for games. :wave
Balotelli, Falcao, Cavani...

I'll be shocked if it's anyone other Etoo. Etoo or no-one. Simples.

In fact, I'll do you all a favor and ban myself from the January transfer window forum if we get anyone other than Etoo.

Too right, first train doesn't get into Manchester Piccadilly until 1316 & it takes 25mins to get to Horwich Parkway, so you'll end up missing at least 30mins.

The only way to do it via public transport is to get the 0100 coach from Victoria to Manchester, changing in Birmingham, which gets to Manchester at 0720.  It means you are stuck in Manchester for a few hours, but at least you are a lot nearer to Bolton.

You can get the 1630 coach back.  This is what I have had to do, as I am travelling from Reading.  That's why I don't usually like away games in the North on Sunday lunchtime if I can't get a lift.
