Garcia back on. Hopefully they get him sorted out during the break. At least Osman got hurt trying to hurt Milan.

*speechless*

How football plays with your emotions, jumping for joy a few mins ago, nearly crying now. Everton are getting desperate and we're paying the price. They're picking up yellow cards nearly as fast as we're picking up injuries  :no

Hopefully Everton will lose a few players to yellow/red cards in the second half.

John Welsh, Darren Potter and Partridge for the Champions League?

Hopefully the injuries are not as bad as they look.

If we have to suffer more missing first teamers for the reminder of the season that would really take the shine off of a decent win here.

The second half will be hellish if we only have 10 men. So fucking unlucky.

Luis G really needs a miracle at half time to get him out for the 2nd half.

That's the thing with Everton. They don't really play football, they're where they are in the league because they kick lumps out of you. Kind of like a (considerably) more primitive version of Wimbledon circa 1988. Without the flair.

Hopefully officials will wise up to their methods before the start of next season.

It's only fair. Didn't get a player injured at Blackburn so 3 or 4 so far today to make up for it. *Sigh* Can never do things the easy way, us.

Good performance though. Nothing superb, especially in the first 25, but good enough. One complaint is that our movement [esp in first 25] was/is dreadful but when we do move, we create chances and our football is brilliant. It's so annoying. Morientes' shot was superb and more like this will certainly do in the 2nd. Let's not let them back in it. Every player's been great so far.

Looked better walking off than he did during the last 5. To be fair, none of the inuries were from fouls. Expect to play 30 - 40 mins with 10 men though.

Excellent first half. Pride. Passion. Committment. Wonder where it was on Tuesday?

Stunning goals also.

This really shows a lot about Everton : they're heavily pressured and they know against a rampant Liverpool, they have much to lose here.

Rafa, do something! Win this one and you'll be even more a legend after:

Funny fucking game in a way. Fucking screaming for joy and assured that we'd win out now with the injuries it's just too fucking nerve wrecking.

The way I see it, it looks like Luis Garcia ain't gonna come out second half. We don't have another game for a fortnight so lets keep the tempo, give it all we've got and twat the bastards!

these games are important because they are your only chance to take points away from your direct rivals while getting some yourself.

Everton are certainly doing theirs to take points away from us, even if they do lose 3 today!

We've been stunning. Nunez has been absolutely brilliant since he come on.

Just hope we can hold on with 10 men. In the history of football i dont think ive seen injuries like this and dont be surprised if some of their players try and get us down to 9 men

in fairness, the injuries sustained weren't from bad challengers- warnock went over on his ankle, did jarred his quad and moro just hurt his quad. they r being very robust though- dont worry though boys, we'll get through!

one more! in fact 3 more so we can update poor scouser tom:

"luis scored 1, luis scored 2, luis scored 3, luis scored 4!" thats if he can back on, think his could be sound if he 'runs it off' so to speak.

everton are dirty bastards though!
