Really not sure how we went from a pretty comfortable win to a shite draw.

We play like we are so in control, slowly passing the ball around and we look so composed like we are in full control of the game - but it's almost because we have taken our foot off the gas we decide to fall asleep. We actually as a team fall asleep during matches! I am pretty sure some of our players had their eyes closed and at least twice I heard snoring. Don't be surprised if you start seeing sleeping bags on the pitch.

For me in decades of watching Liverpool Nunez this season has just had the most incredible run of bad luck. If he is fractionally off it ends up in the back of the net.

We're not exactly playing very well at the moment. Don't think there's anything wrong with hoping someone the club have identified as a good fit can improve us - especially considering Klopp is choosing to leave.

3-1 up with 5 minutes of normal time left yet we need Alisson to save us.The standard of some of our defending this season has actually been laughable. What a shit end to the season. This defending cannot continue next season.

It would help if the midfield actually helped a bit.

Villa are a dangerous team who will probably finish in the top four, but that was two points squandered really. You can see where we need to improve and the four players that came on showed why they were on the bench and who needs to improve rapidly next season.

It would be easy to blame Mac Allister but ultimately, he was gassed. I've been critical of Thiago as an overall signing but this match was crying out for someone who could come on and control the tempo (and for that matter, a holding midfielder with real physicality and spatial awareness). I also don't think Trent really works in that right back position anymore, or that he has in a while. It'll be sacrilege to some but if he's fit, I think Bradley has to start with Trent competing against Harvey for that central right spot, if indeed we play with that position next year.

We've been poor defensively all season long. The GA stat until January or February was misleading. The amount of chances we concede compared to City or Arsenal is just abysmal. Even the bottom sides have at least a couple of good chances against us and no lead is ever safe you feel. It needs massive improvement.

I think people might have been expecting too much from this side. Easy forget they were 5th with 67 points last year. Making up 12-15 points, 2 league spots, a return to CL and silverware at the end of the season is a mighty good return imo, especially as transfer spending was still way down on Arsenal (who spent double what Liverpool did)  and City (who spent about 1.5 times what Liverpool did).

Next season with  anew manager I just hope the owners back the new manager and free up funds, because I doubt there is another manager in the world who can get as much from this team as Klopp does with the money he has to spend.
