Guardiola spitting constantly again. What's he on?

He is the most disgusting individual another reason I hate seeing them win so much.

Happy enough with that. If we don't win it I want city to win every year to show how ridiculous it is. An arsenal win legitimises city and feeds the illusion its competitive.

Even the commentators couldn't really be assed when that went in - surely even Sky can't be bothered with this farce any more.

On top of that, we dominated against Real Madrid, and then Courtois had the game of his life and we got sucker-punched. A season of what could've been.

To not win at least one of them is just unreal.

Took me a good year to get over it, no surprise we saw such a downturn on the pitch is it.

I've never watched anything from that City game. Out of interest, were you at Anfield or at home? In the ground it was fucking impossible not to get sucked in. I always wonder would it have been easier had I been at home.
I was at home and no, it really wasn't any easier. Football hadn't been the same since for me.

At home was so weird. I was feeling physically sick when it looked like City wouldn’t win and the possibility increased that we might not either. That would have been by far the worst scenario. Then going from 0-2 to 3-2 so relatively quickly just was pretty soul destroying. When we did score that was the only time I then had hope Villa might get a third but hadn’t realised they’d subbed off Coutinho and lost their main goal threat.

I said it once and I'll say it again. To win this league you either need to have a 10+ point lead coming into the end of February/March or go on a ridiculous run and win something like 19 of your first 20 games to mentally exhaust City into giving up.

There's a reason why only one other team has won the league over the past seven years. It's almost impossible.

Stevie's game management was really poor unfortunately. Should have just put everyone behind the ball and gone absolute shithouse tactics. Fuck it, he should have made himself player/manager!

It was fun while it lasted

I do think you will win the league eventually but these near misses will not be good for morale.

You have to back up good seasons with trophies. Otherwise the spirit will erode and performances levels will drop without warning.

2018/19.... the title was missed out on but we won the CL.

You're not even picking up trophies elsewhere.

At the moment, you still have that tag of being the same old Arsenal. The club that is always falling short since 2004.

I was so stressed I had to leave the house and go for a walk around the estate, leaving the phone behind. I was sure that they'd drop points and when I came back it was 3-2. Utterly soul destroying as you said in every which way that was.
