How the hell do you choose MOTM from today? So many outstanding and courageous performances, they left it all out on the field.

Mac.
No, jazz. You fear jazz. You fear the lack of rules, the lack of boundaries. Oh look, it's a fence. But, no, it's soft.

It was a staggering effort. Highlights:

- Season over
- As expected
- Best case scenario is a draw
- Sack the medical team
- Sub Elliott
- Arrogant fans thought we’d win easily

:D we can still sack the medical team.

Jurgen clearly a RAWK lurker... saw what melts we are in the h/t thread and decided to make us a second half team. Epic troll.

Superb.

For us to keep doing this in the face of the injuries is so so good. Have we ever gone so deep into our squad and just kept pumping out results?

Jurgen has always found a way.

  • Outside The Shankly Gates...
I said at half time that the players we had out there were good enough to beat Luton and they needed to go and prove it. Well they did, and then some! Absolutely massive performance in the second half. We really couldn't afford to drop points tonight even in tough circumstances.

Now we go into Sunday's cup final knowing we'll be top of the league at the end of the weekend which should be a very nice confidence boost. Hopefully we can welcome back a couple of players who missed tonight too.
I've just wiped the sticky residue from my bellend onto the television screen. Taste it Leo. You deserve it.

Luton are a good side with a good manager too it seems. Fair play to them.

"Spirited" does them a disservice, but they certainly come out to play against teams and don't lose face because of it. They're set up for the future well and they'll be fine regardless, whether they stay in the league or not.

Magnificent victory! What a turnaround.

Everyone stepped up after the half, and our captain showed the way. Well done the lads!

Fucking huge, what a turnaround, what a team. Someone said at half time, if we win this we'll win the league - it had that vibe and that second half performance was sensational.

Although someone else said a draw was the best case scenario 😂

That second half in those circumstances is the sort of thing that wins league titles. Beautiful and brutal, we tore them apart.

That was a shout and a half :lmao

Getting results while battered by endless injuries is a testament to how badly the squad wants this.

Young lads and reserves playing out of position and putting in a fucking shift every game and picking up points. Keep going lads, keep going.

we didn't play badly in the first half, we had chances just didn't put them away and Luton scored with pretty much their only chance

Luton were poor and we were well on top, but concern was we wouldn't get the goals with Nunez, Jota and Salah out.

Phew, fucking hell. Was genuinely shitting myself at half time not knowing where the fuck our creativity and goals would come from. But Klopp absolutely hammered them and nailed this win in.

The crowd was absolutely brilliant, no doubt their voices at the start of the 2nd half energized the players.
If he retires I'll eat my fucking cock.

A big win for us with a depleted team. All of the players stepped up in the 2nd half and it would be hard to pick a MOTM.
We looked much more dangerous when Bradley played further forward. Quansah, VVD, Bradley and Gomez were all superb.

Virgil with a very important goal. He was fouled twice as he went for the ball but he wasn’t going to be denied. Lovely cross by Mac and a great header by Gakpo for the 2nd. Diaz took his goal well. Robertson winning the ball back for the 4th which was well finished by Elliott (who had a very good 2nd half).

Quansah, Virgil, Bradley, Mac all with good shouts for MOTM with Elliott and Gomez not far behind. Some great clearances by Kelleher.

My MOTM was Diaz simply because he didn’t get disheartened by coming so close several times. He got stuck in and got better and better as the match went on. All of the subs did well.
